Update:Unprompted Jack 'N Drill sent replacements for the defective door stops. I was content to just let it go and take the loss. Through my years of Amazon shopping I've never had a vendor be proactive on a complaint. New door stops work as expected. The quality of customer service (especially over such a small amount) has earned this customers loyalty.[June 16, 2020] - Original reviewUnfortunately, this product was very disappointing. All of the door stops came off the mounting screw with in two days of being installed. I will assume that I received a defective batch of door stops as this doesn't seem to be a common problem.

The door stops match the new door hinges and door handle color. They seem well made. Installation was longer than expected since I was replacing existing door stops. Even after drilling a hole in the wood baseboard, they needed a pair of pliers to fully install them. When you remove the end piece, there seems to be a squared area where a wrench should work. However, a 7mm wrench was too small and an 8mm was too big. Pliers worked as shown in the video but you'll need a firm grip.

These stopper are built in two parts, the screw portion and the stopper. In those locations where I was replacing an existing spring stopper with the rigid stopper, they performed as expected. Those locations where there was no existing hole, the rigid stopper portion came loose and could not seat correctly again. PRE-DRILL the hole before screwing it in. Also, a 1/4" box end wrench works well to install these stoppers.

Junk. directions say drill a hole. no ide what size im supposed to use.... so, I drill a hole. too small and they break easily, too big amd they fall out. thread isn't deep so the screw.part has very little grab. fall apart easily.

These are garbage. Instead of being forged in a single piece, they are made in two pieces. My one year old literally rips all of them off the wall. No joke. I have had to replace them all with more expensive ones from home depot. The photo on the left is the nub after the knob gets ripped off. You can put it back on but nothing really holds it truly in place. It should be threaded.. The right shows the installed version. Either way, it's garbage.

These doorstops appear to be sturdy and probably more long lasting than the cheap-o ones that I had to replace. They are a good value. I would recommend them. I would have liked a gold tone option.

These are good enough to get the job done. I used a 1/4 open end wrench to snug them up an it worked perfect. I only needed 5 but the 10 pack was cheap so I will have a few spares.

Quick fast delivery. Items as described and hold up well. We got them to prevent holes in the walls with two young kids. Seem to be holding up well!
