Dared VP-99P HiFi Vacuum Tube Integrated Amplifier Hi-end Integrated Power 50Wx2,KT88,12AX7

I received my new amp about 10 days ago, ahead of the forecasted date. The unit was very well packed and in good shape. I got an email from the company on the same day I received it to follow up on the condition of the amp, and with some finer instructions on how to set-it up. This was a nice touch. The amplifier is a gorgeous piece of equipment with a high quality finish, and fits very well in any style living room or listening room. I have been listening to music quite extensively through the amp, a wide range of styles, analogue & digital recordings, and from different sources such as vinyl records, tapes, cd’s, wireless feed (via a separate unit), etc… I am very pleased with the sound quality. Having grown up in the 70’s and 80’s, my ears are tuned to favor the colors of mid-range frequencies, so I finally connected my old JBL-100’s to the unit. The sound delivered gave me the deftness and instrument separation I was looking for, and high precision on the high range as well as no muddiness on the low-range bases even with straight-up bebop raw live recordings involving standup bases. The amp also does very well with highly digitized music and recordings, adding its tube warmth to the sometimes “crispy” sound generated by digital music recording. The amplifier is well balanced between high a low tonalities, and has a good channel centering with what seems to be a slight bias towards the left channel (approx. 5%), which is not bad at all. The quality of the tubes which came with the unit is good (KT88’s, and 12AX7’s), but I plan to upgrade them as soon as I have more mileage and demonstrated equipment reliability. As of now, I have encountered no technical issues with the equipment, and the unit heating is in the ranges I expected. Since I am an avid listener, I plan on using this amplifier extensively, main hours at a time, so I will have more reliability data as time goes. Judging from the quality of construction, I do not anticipate any issues, however, the proof is in the pudding 😊 So, in summary, very satisfied with this amp. Quality vs Price is unbeatable. Impressive. The sound image, separation and precision are sublime. This amp does complete justice to the investment. There is an incredible clarity, and opening up of the sound with nothing feeling crowded or crushed. The amp adds warmth to the sound, and eliminates harsh overtones resulting in an extremely satisfying experience. Fell back to discovering the quality of the sound mix, since the amp is so transparent. Paired the amp with Klipsh F300 speakers, and subwoofer.Overall, extremely pleased with this purchase, and I have no hesitation in recommending it. The added bonus being the sheer looks of the product. The beautiful, warm glowing tubes in a dimly lit room, add a touch of class to this amp.

After owning the VP99p for about 4 months, the tubes are probably broken in. The sound is at once solid and fluid. Bass is strong and tight and musical to the ear. Mids are clear and have good air. I am running Psvane KT88-T mkii's and Mullard matched quint of 12AX7's. Swapped in these tubes pretty much when I got the unit (no problem with the supplied tubes... just always looking to optimize the experience, you know). All with no issues. build quality and sound are pleasing and entirely satisfactory. Also the dealer is helpful and cooperative, offering advice with setup. Altogether a good deal!
