works great...charge lasts long time. love it

The desk lamp I had already had too much of a yellow light, and it wasn't really moveable, and could only sit in one spot. This had worked fine in other living places, as I'd had it for many years through a few different moves. But with my current desk set up it was just casting so much shadow over anything I was trying to do on my desk (I'm right handed, and the lamp was on the other side of my right arm). My mom has this light and uses it in her art studio, and it looks so bright in there, and I liked that it could be moved easily to any spot when you take it off the charger. Plus it's just lightweight enough, small enough, and has a long enough cord that I could move it from one side of my desk to the other easily, even while keeping it on the charger. Only downside is I had expected it to be a lot brighter. I guess seeing it in my moms space was a bit misleading as her table is white, so the light bounced off of it really well. While my desk is a dark color, so the light doesn't bounce off of it well. I had been hoping to replace my previous desk lamp with this one, but now I feel like I have to use them both at the same time to get my actual desired level of brightness. But this lamp is still useful on it's own outside of the few times I might need that much brightness.

I love this little lamp. I keep it on a shelf in my large closet so I can see my clothes. I love the way it can adjust to any shape and the varied levels of light. It also looks cool - sleek and smart.

I own 2 of these cuties. They're useful in a number of places: desk, sewing table , reading area, closet, etc. I've even used one of them as a flashlight in a pinch, hunting for an earring under a bed. They give off a full spectrum light--which is useful in a closet when choosing colors. I'd have given 5 stars except that the lamps tend to fall over easily unless they're bent properly, and the switch is super sensitive which means it can be left on inadvertently. One of my two lamps seems to need recharging more frequently than the other. All in all a very good buy

I like the design although wish the neck extended a little more. Did not like the charge time at all. Full bright it lasted less than an hour but took several hours to recharge. Had to return.

I love this light!! It's so versatile, and easy to use with adjustable brightness. I use this convenient, portable light all the time. If I need it for longer than 2 hours, then I just plug it in. I mostly plug it in about once a week to charge.I took up painting a few years ago and so many people were raving about the Ott light. I already had a desk lamp--so I didn't think I needed a "pricey" Ott light. Boy, was I wrong! I finally decided to get one for better natural lighting for painting and other tasks. I love this light. I use it ALL the time--not just to paint.-- The touch feature is awesome! You barely need to touch it! Touch 1, 2 or 3 times to turn on and increase the brightness. 4th time to torn off. How cool is that?-- I use it anytime I need a little extra lighting or don't want to turn all the recessed lights on in a room.-- A cordless light is so handy. Better than a flashlight because you can use it hands-free.-- I love how light it is and that I can easily pick it up and take it into any room or place it on any surface.-- The gooseneck design is also very cool with a stable base. I would sometimes knock over my desk lamp which was very annoying.-- You can easily adjust the angle of the light--this is a so very handy.-- 10 Stars!!

I use this product in conjunction with a Ugreen power brick to get a long-lasting source of light without having to connect it to a wall outlet with standard electricity. The user manual states that the built-in batteries last about two hours, and that has been my experience. Using the light in conjunction with the Ugreen power brick greatly extends how long the light lasts. I use the light off and on for several hours each day, and maybe a week goes by before I have to charge the power brick. The on-off switch is kind of touchy, so you will have to keep an eye on it while you are transporting the light from one place to another; the switch is fine, once the light is stationed on your table or desk.
