I cannot claim this product got rid of lice as I used many products in my approach to eradicate the lice. This product was the last one I used. I can say it is very easy to apply (my daughter has very long thick hair) since it is in a foam form. It does not smell bad. It did dry out my hands during application and dried out her hair. I would think it would have some sort of an effect on lice, but I think we were clear when I used this.

Amazing difference from the chemical products at the pharmacy that leave my kids hair rough like a carpet. We add a little moisturizer before the combing process and it is a silky process without the screams of pain. As a mother of 5 with kids ranging from 1 to 14 we have had a LOT of lice experience over the years. Until now we had given up on products and just manually combed with conditioner then nit picked for weeks till we were in the clear. It was a pain in the ass every time. Now I am working 60+ hours a week and the task fell to dad this year (seems to be a spring issue yearly). Now I love my husband but this is not an area he excels at. So after some reading about enzymes and lice I decided to order this. Both my teen girls have very long hair so I went ahead and ordered the gallon refill.First impression, it smells fantastic. Next it made the hair a bit difficult to comb through when the 5 minutes was up. So I started precombing with a small brush before running over it with the lice comb. At first I wasn't finding anything as we had already been through the hair a few days earlier.. suddenly there were tons of nits on the comb. I have NEVER had eggs on the comb with any product. I have always had to go back through the hair after and hand pick. The lice appeared dead as they came out as well.Conclusion:I will suggest this product to anyone dealing with lice!I will be still doing my normal combing schedule of 3 days in a row, 5 days later and 7 days following that for two weeks. I want to be sure we are 100% free. But I will no longer spend hours nit picking. This stuff has made my life 1000x simpler!

It gives my hands a rash when I use it to comb out my kids' hair, and makes my own head itch the times I used it on myself. I don't think it helps much in getting out eggs as compared to just water and conditioner with a good comb, but I can't be sure either way. 2 stars because maybe it did help, but maybe it didn't.

This stuff worked wonders! After months of those little critters bothering my little ones head, we found relief! We tried the many different brands from the pharmacy, all of which had a strong odor and were very harsh on the scalp. I decided to try this product after reading the reviews. I figured a Supergirl on the front would make my daughter feel more comfortable having to sit through another hour of combing. It smells like peppermint and I didn't have to use a lot like I had thought, so we have plenty left. This combined with a great lice comb is all we needed. I used it 4 days ago, and have continues to check back daily and have found zero life, including eggs.

Having three girls with long hair, you can just imagine the battle I have faced for the last three years (since my two youngest started school). I have spent countless hours, and dollars and I've tried everything under the sun. Well at least I thought I had until I bought this product. I bought the kit which includes the foam mousse, lice prevention spray and the best lice comb ever. I am absolutely thrilled (my girls too)!!!After treating their hair, I didn't see any eggs at all and my youngest has really thick hair. If I simply follow the instructions, and with some patience (if you have more than one child) and persistence in prevention, I feel sure my long battle will be won.

I like how easy this is to apply, although I am still having a problem with lice but I don't think it is product to blame. I am in one of the states with a super lice infestation and am having trouble keeping everyone lice free. I am going to order many more bottles of this treatment.

Foam doesn't last very long once applied to hair before it fizzles away, leaving it wet and no longer foamy. I went through the bottle a lot faster in comparison to other brands I've used because of this. It didn't leave the hair as crunchy as other products once all done combing out which was nice though.
