Oh Zone Spice Grinder - Elements of Spice

Have recently drastically reduced the use of salt with cooking and adding of additional salt to the food on the table, which needless to say, resulted in blah and tasteless food. Have gone to unprocessed salt for cooking and have tried several no salt spices for cooking and use at the table, and the Splash grinders are the best. Have tried several different ones. They all contain sea salt, though I don't know if it is the unprocessed type or not, and differents spices. I find that i use less and less straight salt as time goes by.They are a bit pricey, but the shipping per grinder drops a lot if you order several at once, and as the old adage, you get what you pay for. So if flavor and taste are important to you.......

This grinder has some lovely notes of dill, fennel & coriander flavors for anything from Rabbit, pork, fish or rice dishes but it's WAY too salty which is unfortunate because the idea of the other herbs is excellent, just, sadly, not balanced with the sea salt. I will use it sparingly or especially in crockpot type dishes so the salt will perhaps disipate but probably wouldn't recommend this to most of my friends. At least not without the "too salty" warning.

Not the same as years ago - mostly salt - WAY too much salt. I bought some fennel, fenogreek and some of the other aromatics to add to it when I took the salt out - while I had the salt out, I replaced it with Himalayan pink salt - much healthier. I really think I can make my own Oh Zone!
