This handle is just as good if not better than the original tailgate handle that was on my truck. It works better it's in the old one. I liked that it was a decent price to. Installation was relatively easy. Couple of screws and it was in and out.

4.5/5 stars. Works great, install was fairly straightforward. You will move the key latch over from the old to the new. New handle works well though it doesn't feel super solid when opening and closing my GMC Canyon. Worth it for the $$$ vs paying for a $150 replacement at the auto store, even if it doesn't last a lifetime. I don't get in and out of my truck bed much, maybe 100 times a year so this should be perfect for a light duty latch. Had it for a couple of months now, no issues.

Exact fit and easy install. No different in operation and appearance from original. Would recommend as replacement. Happy with the purchase.

I've replaced this tailgate handle 3 times! This time, it came without one of the keepers for the tailgate latch....Had to jerry-rig it using a keeper from the one being replaced. Wasn't easy getting the old one off without breaking it, but I managed. Hope this one will last longer than the other ones...

This was super easy to replace. It took five minutes. The only thing is there will be a hole if you don’t have a lock replacement from your old handle. I just filled mine with a washer and a bolt. Looks great.

Pretty good product. I recommend some good quality dry lube from aerosol can that is made for plastic.

This a was perfect replacement for my 06 Colorado. Very easy to replace.
