A little too easy for 12 years old
This is a great book for a younger or inexperienced baker. We purchased it because it appeared to be suitable for older or more skilled kids, but passed it on to a friend with a younger child.

A wonderful way to teach baking
The media could not be loaded.  Does your child love baking? Do you as an adult love baking and learning about baking new things? This is a wonderful way to learn about baking! You or your child collects books related to what they want to learn about in baking and there are places to write down what they learned. There is a place to do Baking Challenges, to rate your work, to watch a cooking show and write down what you think, a place to do math practice (maybe if you want to double a recipe or learn measurements), a place to write down baking dreams, a recipe to make, beautiful coloring pages and a place to write down Plans and Priorities. This looks like a fun way to do school as an individual or as a group.I can’t wait to incorporate this into our school day.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE The Baker's Journal
I got this for my son and it is a total game changer for our homeschool! He absolutely loves it and loves the Baking Challenges! He even wants to make something without me helping him. He won't tell me what is is, but he asked me to take him to the grocery store to get the items to make it :) I love how the Baker's Journal sparked my son's interest and excited to learn and be creative!

The most enjoyable artistic journal for kids ever!
These journals are a favorite with my kids! Easy to read, printed on sturdy paper, with tons of new ideas and creative space for them to make it their own. We were so excited to get the bakers journal and begin making new things. The girls are having so much fun making the goodies and turning the journal into their own keepsake of favorite recipes. Thanks Sarah for helping teach my kids while being out their creative side!

Fun and creative
My little Baker is so excited to use this. We love thinking tree journals how they are set up to encourage self learning through areas to draw, journal and do research of your own. This journal has space for creating something new and following directions. There is space for math, drawing, screen time ect...

Love it!
My daughter and I both love this book. Before, with other curriculum, I'd have to make her sit down but now she does this in her own.

Great for homeschool!
It's a great book! My only recommendation would be a page of instructions on how to use the books.

Love this journal.
This is a great journal for the kid that's interested in learning more about baking. Both my 10 and 8 year old like this journal. Older kids would also like this and would be able to do most of it independently.

Great non boring school journal even for a grade 2 child.
I love this journal! Just arrived yesterday and now my child wants to fill the whole book out and get baking and studying! Can't thank the author enough. It's a sturdy book with over 300 pages.
