I've had these on for a few days. Love how they flex with your feet, and you don't have to tie them because the individual "knots" hold where you put them. They're nothing cool to look at, so if you care about aesthetics, then think twice. Most important, look at the instructions on the website on how to install them, to avoid unnecessary wear on your eyelets but especially the laces. Pull on BOTH ends when threading through each eyelet, because when you pull on the lace, the "bumps" flatten out, so you don't have to "rip" each bump through small athletic eyelets.

these work great on my shoes because I have wide, very flat feet and using regular laces can make shoes either too loose (too accommodate swelling and expansion of my feet) or too tight (because my feet will widen when i step). Once set at the right tension and number of notches, it becomes very easy to put shoes on and not worry about them becoming too loose nor too tight. the excess can even be tied into a regular shoe lack knot, or cut and knotted to prevent them from slipping out. I prefer to make a regular knot with the excess, as these can easily be moved to new shoes if the laces haven't worn out by that time.

I started my tri season with these laces in my racing flats and thought they were quality and comparable to the other brands of speed laces. During the season I developed Morton's neuroma (completely unrelated to the laces), which requires the toe box on my shoes to be very loosely laced. Only this brand, with the placement "knots", kept the toe box loose enough to prevent discomfort while letting me keep the upper snug and keep the transition speed from elastic laces. They take a bit more set-up time, but once set up, your shoes will fit the same every time.

Just what my husband was looking for

I have used the white version successfully on tennis shoes. For ordinary black shoes , they are not very attractive and also, like the tennis shoes, quite hard work to install. However , they do the job perfectly. Reco0mmend for anyone who has diffulty bending to do shoe laces.

I bought my first set of these laces 7 months ago. I've bought a new set with each pair of running shoes since.Once you've tried these, you struggle to go back to normal laces. Even tension, no chance of over or under tightening, no slapping around your ankles, no coming undone etc. They hold your shoe on as tightly or loosely as you want and can be adjust easily to suit. I have mine fairly tight, even still, I can pull the tongue and slip them on and off with ease. The little disappearing/reappearing knots are a touch of genius.The first pair I bought were a bugger to fit, really hurt my fingers and took half an hour. Recent pairs have been a doddle. As long as I'm buying running shoes, I'll be buying these laces. Not cheap but worth every penny in my opinion.

Used it for Toughmudder in the hopes it would solve the issue of having to always check my laces and that they let my shoes expand as my feet swell over the 12 miles. It did the job perfectly and i know have them on my everyday trainers. Great product for a Great Price

I bought these laces so that my running shoes could be adjusted exactly how I want them and stay that way. They are a bit of effort to lace the first time, but once adjusted, they just stay exactly where you put them. Has reduced the potential for rubbing greatly, and means I can get my running shoes on quickly in transition during a triathlon, perfectly adjusted. Would have tried them sooner, but thought that the price was a bit high for taking a chance (compared to the cost of normal elastic laces). Definitely worth the money and arrived quickly :-)

Great product, have them on all my triathlon running shoes for a quick transition. Take a bit of time to get the fit right for tightness but once done they are great.
