Just screw the light into the socket for much needed light.

Been trying to get some light into the garage for some time. Tried a 4 foot led tube fixture, but that didn’t get it done. Took a chance on this and so glad I did. Bought two: one I put in an existing fixture, the other I mounted to the ceiling with the fixture that comes with it and plugged it into the garage door opener outlet. The wire looks messy hanging down, but allows me to reach up and turn it on when needed. No reason to turn it on if I don’t need it. They are bright, don’t get too hot and are working flawlessly. Wish I found these before I spent so much on various work lights that are clunky to move around. If I had to give a negative, it would be that the light is harsh and throws hard shadows. But that really just speaks to how bright they are, and that is exactly what I needed. The fact that you can aim each arm individually takes care of the shadows either way, so no drawbacks yet. The soft light I had provides the ambient light, and this one gives me the light I need in the work area. Whether you have existing lighting or not, you cannot go wrong with this one.

Prior to this lighting all we had in the barn was a 8 foot florescent bulb in one corner of the barn. In colder weather it took time for the light to be bright enough to work under. We replaced that bulb with 4 other of these bulbs. What a difference in lighting. We did have to run more electrical wiring but it was worth it. Instant on with brightness. We like the idea of being able to turn on the light individually. This was another great purchase and I am very satisfied. Would strongly recommend them for anyone to add more light in a workshop or barn.

Had some LED bulbs but these trifold panels much brighter and can focus down more on workspace. Combined with Leviton 9726-C2 One-Piece Glazed Porcelain Outlet Box ...The product shown above proved to fail after heavy shop use after 3 months. This was after the return window. AFTER DIRECT CONTACT WITH THE SELLER, RECEIVED 3 PROMPT EMAIL REPLIES (WHAT A CHANGE!) AND THEY AGREED TO REPLACE THE ITEMS FREE OF CHARGE. NOTE THAT THEY HAVE A NEW MODEL OF THIS WITH EVEN BRIGHTER OUTPUT. WE'LL SEE HOW THAT ONE WORKS OUT.

This product works great in our barn. I live in Wisconsin so its important that a light comes on immediately even when it is below zero. These work great and really brighten up the barn. Pretty easy to put in. I've only had them for a few months so we'll see how long they last

Awesome LED lights. I put two of these in the garage and now feel a need for sunblock while working out there. Had to buy new sunglasses. Now I can see. I highly recommend this product. Especially at night. Update: They are starting to burn out now....

So far so good. Very bright, easy to install and decent price, if you are replacing an existing bulb, these won't work if you have a tight corner socket as the system needs to be spread out in order to get the best out of the lighting.I think best used for for home garages or small shops, unknown how long they will last but because they are led, hopefully they will last for years to come.

I had two garage ceiling light sockets in addition to the garage door opener light. After I replaced the two bulbs with two of these LED units, I could see in every corner of the garage, inside the car without opening the doors and inside of cabinets. Love them..
