Great Butyl alternative to Asphalt based tapes
Works great, sticks very well. The BT20XL is specifically made with BUTYL base vs ASPHALT for compatibility with some flexible J-channels, vinyl windows, and other plastic products that may contain plasticizers that are not compatible with ASPHALT. Be sure to check manufacturer specs for whether a BUTYL based flashing tape is required, or you may end up with drips as the asphalt tape and plastic interact. This tape works great though, and is compatible with most everything. It sticks great after rolling.

Great product at a fair price!
Use this all the time when flashing windows. It is a great product at a fair price. I have never seen the benefit of using any products that were more expensive. I have had excellent results with this flashing tape and have followed some of the installations for up to ten years without any call-backs.
