RAYYAN LINEN Thermal Pencil Pleat Blackout Tape Top Pair of Curtains With Free Tiebacks (66" X 54", Cream Natural Beige)

In August 2018 I bought 2 pairs of Red Rayan Linen Curtains for our bedroom. As they was advertised as "Blackout" Warm in winter but cooler in Summer I thought I would give them a try & Wow they certainly lived up to the Standards we have a very large bedroom & every curtain I have bought in the past has not done the Job! But they surely made the room Dark & warm I was so pleased with them that when we re-decorated our living room I knew exactly which curtains I would buy & they are beautiful everyone who comes to visit admires them, the colour (TEAL) is lovely & matches just what I wanted. Value for money? Yes certainly & I forgot to mention that when they was opened for the 1st time there was hardly a crease in them & I didn't have to press them. Hope this helps x

Was a bit dubious but these are genuine blackout curtains that block out bright sunlight. Fabric is light weight and soft and the black color adds a touch of class to the bedroom, they look crisp and sharp. My daughter likes to sleep in late on weekends and these curtains definitely do the job as she never complains that the sunlight woke her up earlier than her usual 8 hours sleep.Price is so reasonable and the dispatch and delivery were ultra fast, I can't recommend these curtains highly enough. I waited a few weeks to test the curtains in use before I posted this review so that I can could confirm that they are genuinely a good buy.Tip, the header tape has 3 settings to adjust the drop of the curtains, there is approximately 1 inch difference in each setting. So I used the bottom one for the curtain hooks and that way I did not have to cut them to size before putting them up on the window. Well pleased with this purchase.

These are lovely curtains. They feel like satin but low sheen, thick, nice weight, hang well.I was blown away when I opened them and for the price too!I bought the teal, rich colour, but in spite of reviews suggesting darker colours might be blackout - these are not.They block out most indirect low light but the sun sets outside my bedroom and these do not create the blackout effect, which if I’m perfectly honest was the main reason I chose these curtains.It’s nothing short of a lie to state that they are blackout.I’m keeping them anyway simply because I really do like them and the long nights are drawing in. I might wish I’d returned them come next summer though.

I am really surprised by those curtains, couldn't expect much for this price, but it looks perfect - photos don't do justice, looks much better in reality. Material is light and soft, with a lovely sheen on it, it blocks all the light, despite being thin and lightweight, and lovely colour too. Some of the stitching around edges are not perfect, but you can't see it at all once it hung. I had to return two other sets of very poor curtains from different brands, both much more expensive, this was my third try, and I don't regret my decision! Will buy another set in different colour for the bedroom.

Delivered within 24 hours. We recently paid £28 for equivalent quality curtains at B&Q and frankly Ican’t tell the difference. I thought they would be shiny, and a bit tacky, but they aren’t, they feel heavy, they have three lines of hook locators at the top when some cheap curtains only have one or two, the pleat tapes work well, I cannot find a thing wrong with them, and as I say, they are surprisingly better quality yhan I thoughy for basically ten pounds.

I ignored the negative reviews as these have such a high rating, I wish I hadn't. There is white stitching at the top on purple curtains so it really stands out, and is in multiple places. They are more silky and sheeny than I thought. More purple than aubergine, and they don't hang straight. They do however block out a lot of light. I don't feel it was good value even at such a low price, I've got much better for same price in fact. Really disappointed. Tie backs are a nice touch though.

These are excellent value curtains (I bought the black ones). They feel soft and silky, almost like satin (they are made of 100% polyester). The curtains hang nicely and had a good colour. They are not particularly thick, but then that is to be expected at this price. As others have said, these are not completely 'blackout' curtains. You can see some light through the curtains if you stand very close. However, these curtains do a good job of blocking most light (both natural and artificial), and do a better job than thicker curtains I have which cost considerably more. Unless you need curtains which will leave your room in total pitch-black darkness, these do a good enough job and provide excellent value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to buy these again if I needed some good, cheap curtains.

Having read the reviews I was led to believe that the sizing would be for each curtain however they don’t fit my window very well at all. They only close properly when at full stretch so there is no allowance for the pleating at the top. Cheap material that isn’t stitched very well on the edges so the inside edge curls slightly making it look like they have shrunk along the edge. The tie backs are much too long and hang limply rather than holding back the curtain. Couldn’t send back as needed urgently so will keep for a smaller less used window.
