Brown Scapular with Gold Cross - Regular Cord (1011)

The scapular is well made and definitely worth the money. I originally bought this so I could wear something close to my heart to remind me to do the right thing and behave according to scripture on a daily basis. Little did I know it would save my life.... I was walking home alone, on the moors one night , and a dense fog sprung up . Suddenly out of the mist I spotted what seemed to be an attractive very pale woman who seemed to be distressed. I asked her if she was ok and she seemingly glided towards me . She asked me what I was doing out so late, and why I was alone. I told her I was just out to clear my head and that I enjoyed the solitude of the moors at night. Suddenly she grabbed me by the back of my head as though to kiss me. It was at that point that I saw the fangs, but luckily I was wearing the scapular and her hands burned as she touched the cloth. She reeled back, hissed at me and transformed into a massive bat before flying away. I can't say enough good things about this product. Whether it's a gentle reminder of your faith that you are looking for or protection from the undead , this is the surely your best bet.

I rate this with five stars, not because it can't be improved, but because it is the best one I have found.I was enrolled a few months ago and have warn this scapular ever since. It is made well enough that it is holding up, but I can see that the lanyards will break within a few months because of the wear placed on them by the medals. Remember to discard it properly for it is a religiousThis scapular does come with the enrollment rites, but what is missing from all of these scapulars are instructions on your obligations/responsibilities as one who is enrolled and wears the scapular. Graces are bestowed upon those who wear the scapular IF one follows the spirituality of the Carmelite Order. Each scapular is different, but with the wearing of the Brown Scapular you should be doing the following:-frequent participation in the Mass and reception of Holy Communion;-frequent reading of and meditation on the Word of God in Sacred Scripture;-the regular praying of at least a part of the Liturgy of the Hours (Search for Divine Office to find DivineOffice.org);-imitation of and devotion to Mary;-the practice of the virtues, notably: charity, chastity (according to one’s state in life), and obedience to the will of God.

If you pray the Rosary everyday, where the scapular, and thank God and Jesus and of course Our Blessed Mother for all the graces and blessings in your life, I can promise one thing. It will change your life. Freedom from habitual sin and a sense of well being I never really experienced before. In fact, the week I started wearing this, one huge contributor to mortal sin was removed from my life in the most unexpected way. My head was spinning so fast. Looking back, all I can do is thank Our Blessed Mother for her prayers on my behalf. Give it a month, you have nothing to lose and everything to gain.

The cord on this scapular is too long. The product description should have clearly indicated that as I would not have ordered it. This normally would not be an issue for me since I would just go ahead and return it but unfortunately this product is ineligible for return.

I got the shorter cord and love it and love the medal crucifix and medal! I lost one and bought another right away.. love it

Sturdy scapular that looks very nice. Many previous scapulars that I've work look cheap, are bulky, and are not very attractive. This one looks great, the ends are perfect size, and the medals are a great addition. It is slightly shorter than I thought, but it's ok because I like to show it off and I don't have to tie it keep it in place.
