Under the Sea (Magnetic Story & Play Scene) Hardcover – March 1, 2007

My children love it. My two year old will play with it for 5-10 minutes, but my 4 year old will play with it for 30 minutes or more. The magnets are strong enough, they don't fall off the book, but aren't too strong that my little have a hard time pulling them off. Very cute book!

We were given a used farm magnetic book with a bunch of hand me downs and my daughter loved it, but the magnets didn't seem to work that well, so I decided to buy this book new. She loves the book, but I was dissapointed to see that the magnets still weren't that strong. I get that they don't want to make them so strong that kids can't do it, but this is barely there. Still, I can't rate it lower because she loves it and it doesn't seem to frustrate her, and she's had it for about 4 months now.

Beautiful magnets, but not as strong as I hoped....my 18 month old can pretty easily bend these. To be fair, I believe the suggestion is for 3+ yrs, but she LOVES the Construction magnetic set also sold on Amazon which has much stronger magnets, but...this Under The Sea set has a much cuter story (the construction set is JUST a magnetic play mat & no storyline or pages like this one). Definitely worth buying & a great toy/car seat book.

Really cute idea of sticking magnets to the story pages, makes the children illustrate as they hear the story being read. The only down side to this product is that you need to unfold the book completely in order to get the plastic storage container to open and close.

Christmas present for great grandaughter

This book is too cute! It comes with 20 magnets that are all on the larger side so they're less of a choking hazard. There are four different ocean scenes for you child to place the magnets on and the last page flips open so it is three pages wide. My 2 year old loves this book and I like that it's a quiet time activity.

This helped with airplane travel and entertaining my 2 and 5yr old. The magnets are not that strong though and do slide off the book. The magnets have now ended up on the fridge but the kids still enjoy playing with it.

Loved the building site magnetic book so bought this too. Good book but I am a bit disappointed that there is not much of a story. The other one seems a bit better to me. This might be better for younger children (my son is 5) as there is a back page to make their own sea picture with the magnets.

Not a bad toy, didn’t hold interest for long unfortunately. Magnetic sea creatures stick in the pages as you read the story. Fairly well made but I’ve seen better!

Lovely pictures, and you can have lots of fun making different scenes and stories. The magnets are a little flimsy in places though, and can be broken/chewed easily, which is a shame.

The 3 books in this series are wonderful. My 2 year old still goes through these almost daily a few months later.

Love the magnets and pictures. Text is wordy and lacks any real story, just describes. Shame really but my toddler loves playing with it. Good for a train journey.
