Why does it say corded electric? is this a slap hammer or electric hammer stapler?

No idea-- someone entered incorrect info when they set up the listing-- this is a manual slap type stapler-- no electric no air no batteries-- just you.

Why is the size of staple used by this hammer stapler not listed anywhere in the ad?

I use the ARROW Genuine T50 Staples 1/2 " staples. Box says #508 - I love and use my Hammer Tacker a lot.
