Three Stars
- Serves it's purpose, so far. By examining however, it appears cheaply made. We will see how long it lasts.--That was my review upon initial use a couple of months ago. Now I've used this hose about 5 times - light duty to water a few pots on my patio. It ripped away from the black plastic base of the plastic sprayer that was included. It is an unrepairable FAIL. DO NOT buy this product - it is a rip off. $35 wasted:( I see this product is currently 'under review'. If is comes available again, use your money to buy a quality expandable hose - because I think the concept is good. I bought a QUALITY one a few years ago and used it regularly without problems. I gave it to my elderly aunt an couple of months ago and replaced it with this piece of junk.---New update to hose fail: After the hose burst, I contacted the seller thru Amazon. They immediately offered me a refund or a replacement - all they asked for was a picture of the the burst hose. Note: While the problem happened after the warranty period was up, they still agreed to effectuate their warranty.

Not a gimmick--VERY useful.
Bought this on a whim (one of those evil "one click" purchases that I've become addicted to :)....and I use it DAILY. It's perfect for an everyday hose (as long as you don't need to go further than 40 feet--which is really about the max distance). It's super lightweight, very durable, "rolls" up in seconds and since the hose diameter is smaller than a standard hose, the pressure is excellent. Make sure you have something to "hang" it on (otherwise, it is a bit unruly on the ground--and picks up dirt due to the fabric exterior).Another plus, my two daughters (ages 5 and 2) love watching it expand and shrink (at least they did when I first got it....like all kids, the novelty wore off quickly :)Also, great customer service from the seller--who actually CALLED me at home to see if I liked their product. I purchase ALOT on Amazon and calls like this (in my experience) are rare. I appreciate it when a small company reaches out to their customers in an effort to build their company. I'd rather do business with them then some of the larger "box" type stores. Thanks for calling me and following up!!

Good hose...once I got the leaky connection fixed.(EDIT: Lasted about 3 months before failing)
At first there was a lot of leaking where the hose connects to the tap. But I added an additional washer from ones I had laying around, and now it works perfectly. So if you have water pouring out where the hose connects, try adding a washer and that may help.EDIT: It lasted a couple months, but then the hose itself seems to have failed near where it connects to the faucet. If the connector issue was on the outside part, it could probably easily be remedied, but it's on the part where the hose itself connects to it, so I just had to throw it away. If they used better connectors I think these hoses would be great, but for now, the quality just isn't there.

Not for concrete or heavy use.
This hose does expand to it's full length and does not kink which is nice. And it does shrink down to a easily stored size when not in use. The nozzle that comes with it only lasted about 20 minutes under pressure before the adjustable head blew off and rendered itself useless. Another down side that the ends are plastic so you have to be aware of where they are and not step on them. Finally the outer lining which looks like a nylon/canvas does not last very long after being used to wash cars on my driveway. It has holes in it and is fraying like crazy from the concrete. Not sure it will last much longer.

I've had mine for 2. 5 months and have ...
I've had mine for 2.5 months and have not abused it. It has sprung 4 leaks in very different parts of the hose and today the plastic nozzle plunger broke. What a piece of junk. Unfortunately I need a hose for work mixing cement under my home and it has to be very pliable to move about, so I'll try another 'expandable', but not from Garden Corner.Edit: So I've been contacted by Jolanta Morrissey, Customer Service Manager and a refund has been promptly processed into my account. This was passed the warranty period and initiated by her. That's customer service.Thank you Garden Corner.

Poorly manufactured product
I ordered this hose from Amazon because I all the stores were sold out of expandable hoses. I have another expandable hose that I love, so I wanted another one for the back yard. The first hose that I ordered spewed water at the top where it was connected to the spicket. A part where the hose attaches to the spicket seemed to be threaded on crooked, so you couldn't prevent the leak b/c it couldn't be screwed on tightly. There was such a massive water leak that it sprayed all over my patio and didn't give me enough water pressure to use the hose. I asked for a replacement, and the 2nd hose was the exact same way. My husband fixed it so the part is not threaded crooked, but it still leaked. Since I was desperate for another expandable hose we went to Lowes and got sealant to fix the hose leak. Now it works fine, but we should not have had to use sealant. That same part on my other hose I already own never causes problems.

Works perfectly, great company who wants you to be happy with the purchase.
I really love this hose! It's super simple to put on and it's lightweight when there's no water in it! I love that I can quickly move it out of the way and it takes up such a small amount of space if I need to.Update: Within about a week, this hose broke right where the nozzle meets the actual hose.Second Update: The company reached out to me via phone and offered to send me a new hose free of charge. I got it fairly quickly and hooked it up. I've been using the new hose for about 3 weeks now and it's been working great. It's so light weight when I'm done I just get all the water out and wrap it loosely around the spigot. Nothing extra is needed and it really make the front yard so much cleaner looking. MUCH happier with my experience and with this company desiring to make things right.

It has been great for a year
I bought this hose just over a year ago. It has been great for a year, but I went to water some plants in my planter bed yesterday, and it had a Large split just below the connection to the faucet. I expected the hose to last longer than a year and am disappointed that I now have to replace it. My understanding is that the warranty is for a year; it has been one year and 3 weeks.
