Great Saw
This is a fantastic saw. I have only used it for a couple of days, but it has performed well over my expectations.I have used it with the included blade and was able to make some great quality cuts through 1/8" steel diamond plate, 3/16" sheet, and 3/8" flat stock with ease. One huge advantage that these types of saws have over abrasives is that the work piece is cool to the touch immediately after it has been cut, and there is no burr on the metal, which saves time and frustration. The kit includes the saw, two 5.0 Amp Hour batteries, a charger, and the case. The 5.0 batteries are a huge plus for this type of saw because of how much power it eats through, but I have been able to get quite a few cuts out of each battery, and by the time I had ran one battery out, the other is done charging so it works out perfectly. The case and charger are fairly self-explanatory, both are the same as any other that DeWALT sells, very high quality. Another great feature of the saw is the visibility, with the LED light and the clear plastic viewing window, it is very easy to see what exactly it is that you are cutting.So far, I have not found anything that I dislike, everything is just so well though out and works perfectly. It is definitely one of the best metal cutting saws I have ever used and I would buy it again in a heartbeat.

I was a little skeptical at first. Looks just like the cordless circular saw but man can this thing shred some metal.

Like all DeWalt products, this saw works well.Nice to not have to drag a cord for small projects aroung the house.

For some quick straight cuts in 18ga cold rolled sheet it was fast and easy, clean line with a straight edge

Chips come off hot, fast and furious and go everywhere, so if like me you tend not to think about face and arm protection, this beast will remind you! It's another tool for cutting mostly metal, but I got a couple wood blades for it and does a nice job with that too.
