Set of 3 Cast Aluminum Scoops, Multipurpose, Assorted Sizes, Small, Medium, Large

We purchased these items expecting we could use them in the kitchen for flour and other food items. Since the paperwork received with the product did not say anything about how to wash the scoops, we ran them through a cycle in the dishwasher. When we pulled them out of the dishwasher, the shiny coating had completely washed off, and we were left with a streaked, rough under coat which was very unattractive, and which we determined would not be safe to use with food products. I believe we tossed the scoops into a corner of the garage, and I am not sure what to do with them at this point. We might consider returning them to amazon.com for a refund. Overall, we are very disappointed.

They work great! The have a nice heft to them and the handles are comfortable. I use them when we buy bulk food at Costco to repackage it into usable sized containers.

Does a good job of what scoops are supposed to do. Aren't flimsy. Happy with them.
