The original power adapter cable that came with my Dell XPS 15 had an unusual plug shape which made it difficult to remove from my travel surge protector since there was no grip on the outlet plug. Due to the design, the plug would often get stuck in the surge protector power outlet which fit very snug, and since there's nothing to really grab onto, you'd either have to yank from the cord (not recommended) or use a screwdriver to wedge between the plug and the outlet (which you should never do unless you unplug the surge protector from the wall first) to dislodge the plug from the surge protector.... It's the little details that get to you and this was annoying so I decided to get a different cable.This one not only has a place where you can grip and pull the power cable from the outlet, it's a longer cord, less stiff which makes it more flexible and easier to roll up and put away, and the power adapter plug fits perfectly (which isn't always the case when you buy non-OEM items for OEM parts). I'd get another one if I needed it, but this one works fine.

I seem to take a lot of toys and gadgets on vacation these days. I am attempting to pack this stuff as light and as compact as possible, with all of the current luggage craziness these days.This adapter fits my Acer Aspire One netbook's power adapter. The pin orientation of the connector end that fits the netbook's adapter is sometimes known as "mickey mouse", as I suppose there is some likeness to the character.Replacing the standard 6ft cable with this adapter sure cuts down on the clutter that needs packing.

Nice quality, firm connectionI got rid of another coiled up, power brick cord in my crowded Media center patch panel. Now ther is jst enough cord to get from the surge block to the power brick secured to the side.

I don't remember where exactly I read about this item, possibly the Lenovo S10 forum, but this makes carrying the power cord much easier. The great thing about this is I typically never unwind my 6.5 ft power cord just to recharge my netbook, now this saves all the bulk in my netbook carrying case. The item was shipped pretty quickly. On a side note: shipping was the most expensive aspect of this purchase so I bought two one for the Lenovo S10 and the other for my HP Pavilion dv4000.

I first went to Radio Shack to get the cord lost in transit from the airport (probably security check and they didn't recover it for us) but the cord I purchased though it worked was awkward having a right angle plugging in. This one was cheaper, perfect and just like the original, so I returned the Radio Shack cord.

It's accurately sized (length). I was hoping that the cable would be slightly longer (as previously reported), but the manufacturer can't be blamed for delivering to spec. I needed a compact cable, and this fits the bill.

This enables me at 1ft. long to take my Toshiba notebook travelling without packing a full-length power-cable. It connects the 'brick' cloverleaf to mains. It saves both space and weight.Even handier would be if it could be shipped to Canada: mysteriously, I had to have this sent to a friend in the States in order to obtain it.

Most of the time I don't need a long power cable, and having this short one is perfect for my very small travel case.
