Good stuff
Great quality. Moved house and the phone socket is not near where I put the pc so I had to switch to wifi rather than running cables. This has done the job perfectly. No increase in ping times vs using ethernet, no issue with signal strength, no issue with reliability, no issue with speeds, no issues with packet loss. I can download on it, stream for hours and game on it wit no issues at all. I use 5ghz for most things and 2.4ghz for streaming as my streaming device doesn't support 5ghz. No issues with any of it.The external antenna is great as I can put them up on the table instead of being stuck behind the pc and it makes it easy to move around a bit if you need a better signal. Cable for it could have been slightly longer but its easily long enough to get from a pc on the floor up to a desk.Of course your performance may vary depending on how much interference you have and how many other people are using wifi nearby on the channel you have chosen. Use something like "inssider" to scan the wifi in your area and see which channels have less people on them and then use those channels. Avoid *partially* overlapping other wifi networks as this just causes both networks to see each other as noise, if you have to use a channel that overlaps another network then you are better to use the SAME channel as them so that you completely overlap, the 2 networks then see that it is another wifi network rather than interference and can live together better to share the bandwidth rather than if you have a partial overlap of your signal which just results in them constantly fighting each other as they think it's noise.

STOP THINKING IF ITS GOOD. IT IS! DONT SETTLE FOR LESS!
I bought a cheaper model other brand with extension for PCIE wifi adapter. Only getting 200mbps on 500mbps speed contract. Signal are okay as the router room is far - only getting 3 bars out of 4. DECENT. DECENT. thats at its best though.I decided to bite the bullet to pay double the amount of the previous one. Plugged as normal, download the drivers and voilà . SPEED, RECEPTION, AND STABILITY.BETTER THAN THE PREVIOUS ONES I HAD.SPEED:(ROUTER ROOM IS 20 FEET AWAY)OLD intel ax210 : 200mbps low| 400mbps highAC88 : 350mbps lows| 510mbps highRECEPTION:(ROUTER ROOM IS 20 FEET AWAY)OLD intel ax210 : 1 - 3 signal bars | -70dBm BEST -85dBm WORSEAC88 : 4 signal bars (FULL SIGNAL) | -53dBm BEST -58dBm WORSESTABILITY:( CMD : ping google.com -t )OLD intel ax210 : 1 minute run gets 40 instances of 100+ms latencyAC88 : 1 minutes run gets 10instances of 100+ms latency------------------------OverallMaybe stop buying the cheaper ones if you want a premium experience. Just try and bite the bullet and see all the benefits you should be getting especially if you have FAST INTERNET CONTRACT.Thats not to say cheaper ones dont work - THEY DO and THEY ARE DECENT. Just not on the same level as the premium ones.

Fast, and Windows 11 compatible
I have a lovely desktop PC from 2018, and the PCI card stopped functioning when I changed to 'fibre-to-the-premises' a few months ago. I tried rebooting drivers etc but no success, I left the ethernet cable from the BT extender plugged in (but this left it trailing over the floor). The PC has an Asus motherboard and so I had some difficulty finding a new WIFI card to replace the old Asus basic model form other manufacturers, so I opted for this model.I had needed to enable TPM 2.0 on the pc so that it could upgrade to Windows 11, and this also played an important role in deciding whether to get it.It all works brilliantly. It uses an on-board usb power supply (I think it's for Bluetooth) and I only have 2 so I unplugged my SD card reader as I have en external one.It came with CD software and it installed all of it first time.I instantly saw a threefold increase in wifi speed using an online speed-tester and it meets the BT claim for my full fibre service. My PC then updated to Windows 11 and the PCI card works perfectly.Having the aerials moveable with the magnetic base means I can get the best speed from the broadband router.Job done.

Suitable for Desktop PCs that need a WIFI upgrade
After my old WIFI card stopped working, I decided to get this because it was advertised with fast WIFI and bluetooth. I have a custom built PC so it was fairly easy to install, but do note that the instruction manual isn't exactly step-by-step.After installation and some minimal configuration, I noticed a massive improvement in the WIFI speed. It was close to the limit set by my broadband provider which I was never getting before. However, I couldn't get the bluetooth to work and still get a driver error when trying to configure this. I use a cheap USB bluetooth driver instead as a replacement. Bit disappointed about this, but otherwise happy that I no longer have potato WIFI speeds.
