This light is a godsend for indi filmmakers and professionals who do not want to keep renting Arri SkyPanels.If you show up on set with these the client is gonna be happy and the talent will feel like they are in good hand.Whether it’s right or wrong people feel at ease when they feel like they know or recognize equipment on set, and not only does this look just like a Arri, it also is capable of using the same front mount accessories... at the time of this review the only accessory Yidolbo makes is the eggcrate/honeycomb grid.... but fear not anything you have for Arri will fit perfectly, I’m hoping they will make the front mount bead intensifier.These actually kick more light out then an Arri if running off vmount, however if running off leads it is not nearly as bright (maybe version 2😉)But coming in at a price tag that would allow you to but almost 5 for the price of an Arri... can you complain?The build quality is that of a tank, so be careful while denying this up a c-stand... not that if it fell it would break, but it could be disastrous for talent if it came down on someone or some thing... so definitely double sand bag.The RGB function Is exactly what you would expect out of a modern RGBDT light, punchy and powerful and capable of vivid colors.The tungsten and Daylight are very accurate and have plus and minus green shift so getting good skin tones are no problem.The app Yidoblo has made will get the job done, however the rgb color wheel function does not seem to work but you can still use the specific color value number to change it and they have color presets you can choose and simply adjust hue and saturation from there.The color fix presets are pretty good, I just wish they had a TV preset, other then that every you would expect if you have worked with moderne led lights with this functionality; ie fireworks, nightclub, flame, colors chase, paparazzi among a few others.I prefer using the handy remotes as an app is great if you are trying to run as light as possible, but I already have countless other apps I use on set, setting groups is super easy and comes in handy if you are running multiple lights made by Yidoblo or are a one man band, or a YouTuber who had a set and you keep your lights set up.The light also is the same as the DigitalFoto s300 that has got a few good reviews on YouTube as both companies are somewhat new to the lighting scene.So save If you wanna yourself 200+ a day on renting the Skypanel... and you need soft, bright continuous light or you want to shoot a music video with rgb... get one or more of these guys.

Not a fan of this light. Didn't even turn on when I got it. What is going on?

This is a professional grade light, and if that's not what you're looking for, move along.Let me start by saying, I didn't expect to get this quality of light for the price. It has every feature you can possibly need, including adjustable color temperature, brightness levels, full color selection, different programmable lighting effects and can be controlled manually, with the remote control, an app or a DMX controller. You can also link multiple lights together for large scale lighting applications.The build quality was definitely unexpected. This is a very solidly built light and has locking connectors for power or controller inputs, along with a removable diffuser lens (which I'm sure can be adapted to install different lenses for various effects).The light itself has very rich colors and it easy to configure or adjust. There are built in fans to keep the whole thing cool and the heavy duty mounting bracket will definitely stand up to the test of time (just make sure you have a good stand for this light!). There is also a padded carrying case included for easy transport.Overall, I'm EXTREMELY pleased with this light and would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a serious light at a great price.
