Danish Orchards Preserves, Boysenberry, 28 Ounce (Pack of 12)

We sent for this during the food shortage. It's a great jam, chunks of blackberries in it. In plastic containers instead of glass (I like that). Generous amount in each jar. Not too sweet, not bland - it's just right for toast and yummy in yogurt!

I'm hoping for a positive resolution.We fell in love with this brand a few years ago when our grocery store was selling it. It's amazing, not too sweet, lots of flavor. Plus, Danish! :-)So we got excited to order a case and use it up throughout the year. When they arrived, at least half of them are not sealed and leaking, jam has squirted/leaked out around the kids and air goes in and out with just a gentle squeeze of the container. I'm not sure if these are safe to eat if they haven't been sealed for some time.

I grew up with this jam but couldn't find it in my area so I purchased a 12-pack in early 2017. That pack literally lasted me 4.5 years. I moved it between FIVE apartments including one move halfway across California, so I probably spent more on paying it to be moved than the actual cost of the item.However as I have FINALLY finished 4+ years worth of preserves, despite being a PBJ consumer multiple times a week, I will only say that I desperately wish I could get smaller quantities even if it cost more per unit.I would easily pay 2-3x the value of a single tub just so that I don't have to move a flatpack of these hundreds of miles over the next several years. I'm going to investigate a restaurant supplier who may carry this item locally; otherwise I'll buy again and post an update in 2026.

Its great packaging, great shipping. Great pectin mix spreads nice.It was really watered down! I really want this product to be good. But it was like a really weak flavored jam. The company needs to not stretch it so very thin. I used entire tub to make 2 malts! And it still needed to add some real boysenberry syrup to get flavor. Its so sad that a great company let marketing wreck there product by diluting down 1 containers worth over 10. Its like 1/10th of real home made jam. It has seeds! Which is great. Could replace knots berry farm that was purchased by Smucker's and ruined too.Please! Quit watering down this product 10 to 1. Just make thick rich flavorful jam.

Excellent product with a long shelf life. So glad we could get it since the stores in our area do not stock it.
