Sunsense Ultra SPF50+ Sunscreen Roll-on - 50 ml

The only suncream my son does not have a terrible reaction to. From 6 months old my son has had severe eczema. It can be very distressing and it has made a seemingly simple thing of buying sun creams very difficult. The first summer we had with him he had such a severe reaction whilst we were on holiday all over his body we had to use a steroid cream and coat him in hydromol cream until it subsided. After that I started looking for a sun cream that he didn't react to. The dermatologist had a few suggestions but he reacted to everything I bought (all labels sensitive/hypoallergenic) until I found Sunsense. It's brilliant! I know his skin won't react and that he is highly protected. It is also easy to apply with it being a roller.I know sunsense do a kids version however this is safe for the whole family and as it works for him I have not tried the kids own version.

This cream worked great in protecting my 1 year old and 9 year old, worked well in the water and also didn't need reapplying all the time.... But - it's terrible for the face! My son and daughter suffered from stinging eyes where it had run from being in the water or just being hot... I'd used it again for the body and I'd consider buying a gentler cream just for the face.

Really disappointed with this. Was recommended by a doctor because I’m highly allergic to an ingredient in every single store stocked suncream, looked at a previous customers photos of ingredients and seems they got one without this ingredient too (Octocrylene). When I received mine this ingredient was in the bottle I recieved and therefore I had to get rid of it right away. Just be careful when purchasing this product if you too are allergic.

Have just received this sunscreen today, no chance to use it yet, but on opening the package, the sunscreen had leaked into the plastic bag securing it. It wasn’t much of a leak but the screw top wasn’t screwed on as tightly as it should have been. I have applied some of the leaking liquid to my hands and arms and it has left them feeling quite moisturised and soft so l shall not be returning it at the moment, l am going on holiday in a few weeks and l will put it in my suitcase in a plastic container box and see what has happened to it after a four hour flight. I just hope this sunscreen lives up to the five stars that most people have given it, if it does then l will make a further review.

Not happy at ALL... put on before we left the house on an overcast day, sunny intervals... purposely put on face and shoulders as that was the only areas uncovered.... reapplied once whilst out... and the kids STILL got BURNT Shoulders....

Excellent sun cream. I break out with most sun creams but not with this, I also find i need to put this on less of then other brands before i start to feel burning. I have very sensitive skin. I have tried all the other normal brands such as boots, piz buin, Garnier and Nivea. This always comes out on top.

I needed a suncream which was gentle on the skin but also easy to apply by a child. The roller in the suncream was really hard to role. My son complained it hurt if you rolled a little bit to hard. The size however is perfect to fit in your handbag/book bag.For the prize and how impossible it is to get the cream out. I wouldn't buy again.

Benefit of this product is my 5 year old can apply it himself at school/skiing. No mess and can’t put too much on. Wore it for sports day last week which was very hot and sunny and no burning. Can’t comment on the water resistance/ sensitive skin aspect as haven’t tried in water and he has non sensitive skin. Highly recommend for kids pockets skiing/outdoor camps when they are not with parents or for their school bag. Goes on in just the right quantity
