cords do NOT last even 4 months
I was not able to upload any photos to show. I tried and tried. Sorry.I purchased 2of these at the end of July 22. Had them displayed out for 2 month in 2022 and 2 months (May&June) in 2023. Found 1 on the ground and the other 3 weeks latter in 2023 .All the 3 white cords attached directly to the windsock top wore out and broke right thru.I replaced the cords and added 3 Swivel Snaps (for fishing lines), which I attached directly to the windsock so no friction would accure while blowing in the wind. The material the sock is made out of is GOOD Quality , nice sewn stars; best I've seen so far.I am now happy and do not feel this issue will happen again.

U S flag windsock
The quality of this windsock is very good. The only issue I had with it is that it appears too small for our freestanding flagpole. However, It would be perfect for a pole hanging on a porch or the side of a building. I purchased it to use during the winter when I didn't want high winds and weather to damage my American flag. Since writing this review, I received a comment from another customer and would like to clarify my review. After realizing this windsock was too small for our flagpole, I found a 60" one on Amazon and immediately ordered it. The quality is amazing and it has flown all winter and still looks like new. We have continuously flown the American flag for the 10 years we have lived in our home. No matter what kind of flag we purchased, they always ended up in shreds in a very short time, especially during the winter with ice, etc. Still wanting to show our Pride in our country and our flag, when I saw the windsock I decided to try it. No one can look at that windsock and not see the American flag very proudly represented. My husband is a retired military officer and we both are fully aware of proper protocol for displaying the American flag and of how to retire that flag when it becomes too worn to fly. It saddened us that we were having to retire so many flags every year. Especially after winter weather subsided. We fully plan to continue flying our American flag very proudly eight months out of the year. The other four months, we will continue to fly our American Flag windsock with the same pride. My sincerest apologies to anyone I may have offended with my original review. I thank you and every other American Veteran for your service to our Great Country. God Bless the Soldier and God Bless America...

Hopefully this one is better than the last one
These have been my go to windsocks. I have bought many of them, and they usually last a year to a year and a half outside. The last one only was up about 5-6 months when the three supporting strings around the mouth of the windsock frayed and wore through completely. The holes for the strings appear to be punched with something hot, that could potentially be wearing/cutting the strings. Or maybe the material of the strings has been changed to something less durable. Somewhat disappointing at this price point. We will see how this next one does. The photo shows the one that failed on the top compared to one that was up for a year and a half on the bottom. Bottom one was replaced for appearance only.

Bright colors, durable
Bright colors, durable. I hung this windsock March 1 2017. The first pic shows where it hangs to this day. You are looking into an over two-mile reach of prevailing wind. It has hung continuously since then, with only minimal damage. We are 100' above river level and when it blows, we get the full force. During a storm the wind often reaches 60 mph. Just last month We had storm-force winds for several days, gusting to 75 mph. This resulted in the damage you see in the first picture. Notice that the colors are still fairly bright, after having survived most of two winters. So time to order a replacement. Just one caveat.... Last fall I found our windsock ripped from its attachment point laying in the yard. Found that the swivel that came with it had worn out. So I looked for some bigger stronger ones. Ended up with the ones you see in picture two. Here's the link: LGEGE Smooth Spinning Dual Clip Swivels Wind Spinner Hangers Spiral Tails Twisters Wind Socks, for spinning windsocks and any kites, flower pots, plants, bird feeders, solar lights, flags As soon as I post this review, I'm going to order another one exactly like the first.Update 5/2 - Just got the replacement in the mail, and the swivel and clip look quite a bit heavier than the previous one. Also, the free ends of the red and white strips are sewn differently - looks more rugged.

Cheap but useable
Cheap flag - just know it’s pretty small. I know the size is on there so it shouldn’t be a surprise but it’s a little thing!Still decent for the price.

No issue with the purchase, but be advised that you'll have to iron it before use as it was "scrunched" in the bag it came in.
