The (No Suggestions) jumper Slate 5K is an incredibly slim 5,100 mAh battery that is great for placing in a binder or folder for on the go. Durable power source for the iphone
The Jumpr is durable and light enough to take along without hesitation. I bought it to supplement the battery life of my iphone 6 after an iOS update made it so it wasn’t making through the day. Now that apple fixed the update I find that I can go an entire weekend using just the Jumpr 5K. It holds up well in backpacking/camping environments. I’ll be interested to see how it does in the summer. This is an unbeatable value at its current price.

Powerbank
My daughter and her friends love this power bank. But it doesn't do well in the binder like it says. The middle hole is too small. It is very hard to move in the binder.

Dead after 2 months
Love the built in lightning cable but after only 2 months it has stopped working. Very disappointing.

It only holds 4 star charges. My phone drained plugged into this and it drained it to two. So I gather it will only charge twice yet to be seen from a dead phone. Not 4 charges

Always be charged with the Jumpr Slate battery
Power makes us go. Whether it be that first cup of coffee in the morning or fuel in our gas tank, there are many ways to keep ourselves going throughout the day. Me personally, I couldn’t live without my smartphone. It’s my conduit to my family, friends, and work. I am constantly using it from the time I pull myself out of bed in the morning to the when I set my morning alarm at night. At some point during my day, I have to plug the phone into an outlet so that I can make it through the rest of my day without being tethered to something. With that in mind, portable battery packs become an essential accessory for me. I have several different styles and it’s true, the best battery is the one you can keep with you. So, why not hide a cleverly designed battery within the folds of you work papers or planner portfolio? The Jumpr Slate 5K-L Battery by EnerPlex was designed for that specific purpose. The Jumpr Slate battery pack is actually available in three different models/battery capacity sizes – 5K, 5K-L, and the 10K. Each has a little bit of a different feature set – the 5K and 5K-L both have built-in charging cables, while the 10K does not. The 5K-L, the model I am reviewing, has a built-in Lightning cable, while the 5K has a Micro-USB extension. While the models have these profound differences, the Jumpr Slate series has one big commonality – it’s super slim profile. The 5K-L is only 7.5 mm thick, which is the equivalent of a stack 60 sheets of standard copy paper and it has a Lithium-Polymer battery with 5,100 mAh capacity.I grew up in a time when carrying everything in one folder (a Trapper Keeper usually) was the cool thing to do. The most unique feature of the Jumpr Slate is that it has pre-punched holes along the side so that you can store it in a binder or personal planner. I think this is a great option for battery packs because you can easily plug your phone into the battery without having to fumble through a lot of rubbish in your bag. If you are stuck in an all-day meeting with colleagues and clients and your phone starts to fade, you can just open your portfolio, flip to where your Jumpr Slate is resting, and plug your phone in. It’s hidden, unobtrusive, and solves your power problem. While I was testing the Jumpr Slate, I noticed just a few things I want to point out. There was very minimal heat transfer. I plugged my iPhone 6 into the battery using the built-in cable and laid it on top to charge. After about an hour, I checked it and found that there was a little heat trapped between the two devices, but not so much that carrying the battery inside a portfolio case would be an issue. The battery charges at a rate of about 1% per minute. This is fairly standard from what I’ve seen with regular battery packs. Some fast-charging batteries will charge a little faster, but 1% per minute is a good rate. It’s also nice to know that if you have a meeting that is winding down, you might gain approximately 10% battery power in the last 10 minutes of your meeting. The battery has an easy to read LED power indicator. Most battery packs have these, but the one on the Jumpr Slate really sticks out because it has bright orange lights that contrast nicely against the gray case of the battery. The Jumpr Slate charges with a standard Micro USB cable (included). And I’ve noticed that it charges up pretty quickly. I had it plugged in for a couple of hours and gained almost 75% battery life on the Jumpr Slate. In addition to the built-in Lightning cable, you can also use the standard USB input port to charge other devices. The Jumpr Slate 5K-L is a great accessory for any iOS user. It tucks away nicely when you don’t need it and it’s easily available when you do. It provides excellent performance in a unique package."This product was received at a free or discounted price in exchange for my review.
