OTTERBOX Symmetry Series Case for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge - Frustration FRĒe Packaging - Black

This is the case I wish I had when I got my first S6 Edge. Thanks to month-to-month warranty protection I'm on my sixth S6 Edge. And finally I have a case worthy of this impressive yet fragile device.Since this is a review of a phone case, not much should need to be said. But the S6 Edge is not your typical phone. The rounded edges are infamously hard to safeguard, leading to constant breakage issues. This is why it's been so hard to find a good case.So far, this OtterBox case is the only one I've found with a rigid and large enough rubberized bumper along the top and bottom of the screen face to protect against a drop. Yes, I have dropped my S6 Edge on its face with this case - AND IT SURVIVED.The rest of the functionality you'd want from a case is there. The surrounding plastic is delightfully rigid too. The buttons are easy to press and get eat easier with time. But it's that bumper that makes me happy I got this case.I'd gladly repurchase this case once the rubber inevitably comes off (it's already showing some wear). But to protect the old S6 Edge this is the case you want.

Let me start out by saying this is not my first Otterbox and it won't be my last. However this is my first case from their Symmetry series. It is a nice case, all one piece, and not at all bulky. It does have raised edges to protect the curves of the screen, which is a new feature that I am seeing for all these cases for any curved phone. It feels very good in the hand. The only reason I gave it a 4 out of 5 stars is because there just isn't enough protection as far as I'm concerned. I did end up cracking my screen on the corner, so that was disappointing.If you are looking for a sleek good looking case that feels good in the hand and has moderate protection, than this is for you. But if you are looking for a case that can take a drop or 20 and not leave a scratch on your phone than this is not the case for you. I still give it up to Otterbox for always providing options for all the tech heads out there.

Not a bad case for the cost. I was expecting the nice shiny version that is currently for sale through Otterbox and other retail stores. This is not that. It's entirely rubber and plastic. But for the price, I should have known that it wasn't the nicer version with the aluminum body. It is still pretty lightweight and does a good job protecting the phone. It is also a bit slimmer then the phone case I had before, which is nice. It just didn't wow me, so in general I'd say it's okay. Basic phone case though and for the cost I'd probably not hesitate to get it again.

It's an Otterbox! Protection is outstanding. I pulled the screen protector off and had a Zagg HD Glass installed. The screen protectors on these allow dirt to get in between the phone glass, and the plastic film. That always drives me nuts. My only complaint is they changed the way the port covers open. They open up towards you, instead of down like they always were. This was such a bad engineering design change. I don't know how this got approval for production, but I hate it. Other than that, top notch case!

The protection looks decent like it will get the job done if the phone takes a fall but I just can't get over the cheap plastic feel of the back side shell.

Just got my case tried to put on phone and would pull the screen protector and got air in between phone and protective cover...took a hair dryer and heated otter box cover fits like a glove and no air bubbles

I was bummed that the case doesn't have any type of protective covering for the screen (especially because I paid just as much as I normally do for 3 piece Otter boxes). However, I have dropped the phone several times and the case has done its job. My phone is still in pristine condition.

Llego a tiempo y con la misma calidad que siempre ofrece OTTERBOX. Mi unico reclamo y preocupacion es que todos los pedidos que he hecho en Queretaro, las cajas me han llegado abiertas. Como que las abren y luego las ponen en una nueva caja pero con lps sellos rotos. Ya tuve que devolver un telefono por que llego incompleto. Mucho OJO lo qie esta pasando enQueretaro....

Save yourself the hassle of trying to find at retail or paying their higher amount tagged.Fits the phone, is a solid case and because of the edge phone the case is slightly raised keeping the glass from ever touching what its placed on.

Otterbox quality and protection. Good product for the galaxy s6 edge. Also makes the s6 edge easier to hold as it is a thin device.
