To begin with I was giving a small file cabinet without any wheels. So i decided i wanted to add some wheels to make the file cabinet roll easily instead of lifting it.i had went to the local hardware stores but i found the prices to be outrageous for a set of 4 casters.Until i searched amazon and found these "Set of 4 each 2" Low Profile High Capacity Rubber Wheel Plate Casters".the price was great and they seemed to be a great value. At first i was trying to decide whether to get the one with or without the brake. I was afraid my cabinet will roll to easily with the slightest touch. nevertheless i took a chance and order these.I am very Happy with these Casters i had ordered them from "Hand Trucks & Casters" in which i received nicely packaged.They are very Sturdy & it took me just a few minutes to install them. They roll very nicely and my file cabinet even stays in place in which i like, yet easily to transport.i find these casters to be a fantastic value & will definitely order more in the future. I added a picture in the gallery.Note that you are getting (4) casters only.it's your responsibility to get the proper securing hardware for your intended application.

I purchased these for a tv stand I made and spent a lot of time looking for caster wheels. Although these are only 2 inch wheels, they hold the tv stand up perfectly (mounted to a 1 inch thick piece of wood, lifting the stand a total of about 3 inches). They are extremely sturdy and glide effortlessly across our plush carpet. The wheels rotate very well. They wheels DO NOT come with the included hardware to attach them though, so you will need to pick up some screws. They are not locking wheels so if you have anything other than carpet as your flooring, you may want to look elsewhere for wheels that lock. Or, shoving a black piece of rubber, paper, etc. under the wheels could work and would not be very noticeable. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase. You really can't beat the price and quality combination and I am already planning on purchasing another pack for a coffee table.

My wife and I sometimes play out as a duo and we have an older Centaur all-in-one 2 channel PA system (they call it an "Acoustic PA"). It's their largest model with a 15" main and a tweeter. It weighs somewhere around 50-60 lbs. (By the way, this thing is just phenomenal - we always get compliments on our sound, and we've run two vocals and an electric guitar through it for 50-100 seat gigs without putting it above 1/4 power. We've played outdoor weddings and played an mp3 player through it during set breaks and it always just sounds amazing).I have a bad back and so wanted to minimize carrying the PA as much as possible. We've had these casters on it for about 2 years and they've worked without a hitch. Very smooth and quiet, and they make moving the PA so much easier.

I purchased this set to replace to replace a failed caster on an obsolete Craftsman creeper. These were the first units that I came across that appeared to be appropriately sized at a reasonable cost.Like many such products, the seller does not provided any specifications for the product so here are a few of my measurements. The mounting holes are a bit over 1/4". They are on a retangular pattern that is roughly 24mm by 54mm. The spacing does not match any other caster that I looked at but it was close enough to the dimensions of the originals that with some modification and larger washers I was able to make them fit.The finish looks pretty good. The pivot rivets are about 3/8" and look properly set so the balls shouldn't fall out anytime soon but the casters still rotate freely and smoothly. The wheel rides directly on the axle bolt with no bushing.

Caster Classics® 2-inch Low Profile HD Rubber Wheel Plate Casters - 4-Pack... The reason for the four star rating is not related to function. The paper template is NOT ACCURATE - DO NOT USE IT. The hole pattern on the actual mounting plate is unusual in that the holes are not centered near the corners. The pattern is on 1 inch X 2 1/8 inch centers and the holes are 1/4 inch (diameter). The plate is 1 15/16 X 2 1/8 in. Functionally, these are "5". For price, I would consider a "SIX".

I bought these to use on a Fender bass amp I aquired. They were simple to install and are well suited for allowing me to roll the amp out when I want to rattle the windows in the house and scare the neighbor's cat. Note that the package contents description clearly indicate that you are only getting the 4 casters and mounting template so don't get all huffy if you buy these and expect mounting screws/bolts to be included. It's best to get the right ones you need depending on the application anyway. These casters are a great way to get something rolling with minimal impact to your pocketbook.

I bought these to attach to a guitar amp. I haven't had much occasion to use them, except to push it around in my home. They attached easily, and seem strong enough for this use. The amp weighs about 70 pounds, and I anticipate no problems. In fact, I recently bought a second set for another amp. As noted elsewhere, you DO need to supply your own screws.

I used four of them on a float from my daughter school project, attached to a wood base of about 1/2 inches thick. The results were really good, they roll and turn easy and were very easy to install with a set of four screws and four nuts per wheel. They do make some sound when rolling, but being attached to a wood piece with light tings on top, it may amplify the noise.Given the use, I take they will last for many, many years as they are sturdy and well built
