A great source of portable power
The BePreparedSolar generator kit provides everything needed to produce portable energy. My first use was to power my reciprocating saw and cut some scrap metal. Then I used it to prepare my garden for planting with an electric tiller. Next I dealt with two trees that were blown down in a storm last winter. The trees were at least 30' tall and had 18" diameter trunks. Using a 16" electric chainsaw, I cut up both trees in a couple of hours and barely made a dent in the battery's charge. I am getting rid of all my small gas engines! And the next time we lose power in a storm, I will bring the generator into the house and keep my internet connection active and my refrigerator cool.

I placed my order for this Aug. 25, 2016. I have enjoyed having/using it for power in my she shed. It has only been used for lighting and my small power tools and always kept in the shed itself. I was very disappointed that the inverter has already quit working. Very disappointed with the inverter, especially due to the small amount of actual use. It should still be under warranty , so we will see. I have sent an inquiry through Amazon to see how to go about getting the inverter replaced. Will update as to the service I receive.I also agree with some other reviews that the LED screen is Very hard to read due its placement.

everything works just fine.
I haven't used this yet, but upon taking it out of the box, and hooking a lamp into it, everything works just fine.

poor design for the buck
Very cheap design, unreliable power source. Really, poor design for the buck. Will not recommend to any of my friends or family.

Seems like a hobby project. It does not cost much, so it might still be worth the money

Hard to read led
Led is very difficult to read inside of box. It would be better on the outside of box. Shipping was fast, was missing AC plug , but they are shipping one out ASAP. That's why I gave it 4 stars. Other then that I'm happy with generator 👍🏾😀
