Review Outdoor GearAxe Sheath for Gransfors Bruks Scandinavian Forest Axe

I bought an axe sheath from Review Outdoor Gear - one for my Council Tool Woodcraft Axe and one for my Gransfors Scandinavian Forest Axe.As usual, the quality and craftsmanship of these sheaths is absolutely amazing. Highest quality leather and stitching, perfectly put together. It has the usual tough stiffness of new leather, but still both sheaths fit very nicely right away right out of the box. They are sized perfectly - there was no struggle to get it onto the bit like some of the cheaper stock sheaths provided by the companies in the box. Snap for the neck strap is snug and will stay shut. Council had provided a little black bit cover which fits so poorly I always worry I'll slice off a finger tip just trying to get it on. Not so with these.Sheaths were even packed beautifully just like the axe collars I got from R.O.G. - tissue paper, individually wrapped inside a sturdy box with their logo and business card/contact info.Highly recommend these over any other. As another reviewer said here, this sheath is the kind of quality you would want and expect to go along with a GB axe.--NicoleThese guys are the absolute BEST for these accessories. This is the best single-bit axe sheath available. It is so well made as to make one believe it came through a time machine from the past, back when people took pride in their craftsmanship and it wasn't all about corporate mergers, mass-production, and disposable junk of marginal quality. Watch the video on YouTube to see the painstaking amount of detailed work that went into making these.It's a shame that Gransfors Bruk can't provide an axe sheath of quality equal to their axes. Thank goodness for YAE's after-market products. My axe is now complete!

What a beauty! My G B Scandinavian Forest Axe was borrowed without my permission (yeah, like I would ever loan it out). Thankfully it came back unscathed but missing the sheath. Very nice - much better fit than the one that came with the Husqvara axe. Fits tight so no flopping around.
