Excellent singalong book
Great book. Easy to play and has chords for a number of instruments mapped out. Get it, it's worth it!

I'm playing guitar again.
Love this music book. My other music books I played out of I would have to turn the page to finish the song. The songs in this book are all on the one page with the chord designations on the page on the left. Makes playing guitar fun again. Great songs too. Would recommend.

Great Songs in this book
The songbook has a lot of great songs and is easy to read. The only thing I would change would be to make it spiral bound so it would be easier to put on a music easel.

I'm a beginner guitar player and I've been really enjoying this
I've really been enjoying this songbook. It's gotten me to practice my acoustic guitar strumming and I'm definitely improving thanks to it. I'm hoping to get my rolling backup going on my banjo to try with this book as well. It's definitely on the beginner end. The chords are all on the left side page and the songs/sheet music is on the right. It's definitely a cool idea to have the chords so easily visible while playing. Some of the arrangements may be different from what is commonly played or taught on youtube, but I haven't come across one that really throws me off. There are not any recommended strumming patterns, so you will need to look those up or figure out what works. The songs come with lyrics, but not all lyrics are included for some of the longer songs in the book.So I would recommend this book if you are a beginner/early intermediate player who wants a lot of songs to quickly learn and start strumming. If you are looking for more complicated arrangements/chords or comprehensive lyrics, then this might not work for you.

What A Blast!
Such a pleasure to have access to the chords for so many popular songs! And having both the ukulele and guitar chards right by the song was so helpful.

NOT a bad beginner book
I am learning to play guitar and wanted a beginner book. Some of the songs in here felt "dated" to me, but maybe I need to get to more campfires and see what is being played 😂

An excellent book for beginners -intermediate users
The positive features of this book are the fact that each song is printed on one page so there is no page turning. Secondly, on the left-hand side the book has the cord shapes for the standard ukulele, baritone ukulele, guitar, mandolin, and banjo. This selection of tunes is also very good. However after asking my ukulele group to purchase this we discovered another better book for intermediate-advanced players that has 365 tunes in it.

Fantastic, user-friendly!
A fabulous and user-friendly book! Each song has lyrics and melody line with chords on one page. On the facing page are the chord charts you need for that song! This is SUPER helpful for beginners to moderate players, and just convenient in general!I'm enjoying the variety of songs in this collection. From folk to 1960s pop to country to 1980s hits, you're bound to recognize many if not all of these tunes. I also LOVE the variety of difficulty! I can challenge myself to learn new chords for some songs, but can also just casually strum along with many others. A really good balance.Book includes chord charts for soprano/concert ukulele, baritone ukulele, guitar, mandolin, and banjo for every song.I can hardly wait to find more books from this series! Great job, Hal Leonard Publishing!Songs Included:Baby I love your way; Bad bad Leroy Brown; Blowin' in the wind; Brown eyed girl; California dreamin'; The campfire song song; Catch teh wind; Danny's song; Daydream believer; Do yo believe in magic; Don't dream it's over; Don't worry be happy; Down on the corner; Edelweiss; Father and son; Fire and rain; Folsom prison blues; For what it's worth; Free fallin'; God bless the usa; Good riddance time of your life; Hallelujah; Have you ever seen the rain; Hey Jude; A horse with no name; The house of the rising sun; I walk the line; I'm a believer; Imagine; In my life; Island in the sun; Jamaica farewell; The joker; Knockin' on heaven's door; Kumbaya; Lean on me; Leaving on a jet plane; Let it be; The lion sleeps tonight; Maggie May; Michael row the boat ashore; Mr tamborine man; Nights in white satin; Ob la di ob la da; On top of spaghetti; Peaceful easy feeling; Proud Mary; Puff the magic dragon; Redemption song; Ring of fire; Ripple; Scarborough fair; Sittin' on the dock of the bay; The sound of silence; Stand by me; Summer breeze; Sundown; Sunshine on my shoulders; Sweet Caroline; Sweet dreams are amde of this; Sweet home Alabama; Take me home country roads; Teach your children; This land is your land; Three little birds; Where have all the flowers gone; Yesterday; You are my sunshine; You're so vain.

Highly recommended
Love this book. The layout is great with pictures of cords on one side and music on the other. I downloaded a copy on ebooks to see what it looked like and was happy so I ordered the physical book. The size is great and there is quite a nice variety of easy and harder songs. Great beginner book.
