A good can replacement, thats good... not perfect.
I was so excited to get this and try it out for myself. I use caned air all the time. I have a full size Tower computer and tons of Glass shelving, desks, etc to dust off.The power adapter has a light for charging status, the unit is all inclusive battery is built in and non removable. It is pretty loud during operation but not any louder than an air can really.I love the detail in the unit for grip which works perfectly for the well built trigger. It just has very nice attention to detail in the way its built the way it works and how durable it seems to be.So long story short, it has only 1 flaw... the air pressure. its not as high powered as the cans of air for one reason. The spout is too big. the opening on the unit is about 5x larger than the opening on the standard air canister. Which means you dont get that pin of air accuracy like you would want.So i solved the issue. Take a normal coffee straw and tape 2 of them together then get some foam or hot glue or anything you want that will apply them to the standard straw the unit comes with and Voila! you have the same air tight pressure you have with an air can.I subtracted to 1 star for the fact i have to modify the unit for it to work properly.'Otherwise a great great helper for nerds everywhere.

Different but still evaluating
Canned air has a tiny straw to direct the airflow and this unit has a .25" nozzle. The attachments are a must and are only $9.95. I am not 'sold' on the product yet and that may be because it is different. if the same air pressure generated it is totally different in the 2 different products. I am still using this and will continue testing over the next few months. Rechargeable is very cool because you can never run out of air.11/19/2013: It has been a few months since I bought 02 and now I can say I like this product. The difference between canned air and O2's performance are minimal. I have not had to recharge it yet. Power is good, I still recommend the attachments. I see this as being a time and money saver over the long term.

O2 Hurricane Computer Duster
I read all the reviews and some like it and some don't, but there is three kinds you can get, one is for computers and blows good enough to clean a computer thus called O2 Hurricane Computer Duster , then there is the CANless 02 Hurricane Air System, 150 plus Miles Per Hour Air Speed , and also O2 Hurricane Electric Computer Duster- Industrial Model!!! , I bought the the O2 Hurricane Computer Duster because the computer is delicate and the air speed may do damage to the computer, I have two computers and I clean them every three months, it takes two cans of air to clean one computer, use one can until it freezes up and won't blow then go to the next can, the fumes are bad and I have to get out of the room for a few minutes, the cost of the air is expensive. But with the O2 Hurricane Computer Duster I cleaned a computer and didn't stop once to leave the room because of the fumes and it has eight-teen minutes of strong air before you have to charge it, the O2 Hurricane Computer Duster takes about four hours to recharge but that is better than $20.00 for two cans of air that is not good for the ENVIRONMENT or YOU. At 79.95 I'm very SATISFIED.....

Very gentle - but that's not what you want!
I'm all in favor of not buying and then disposing of pressurized cans of various kinds of gas which we use to clean out keyboards and others parts of computers. And there probably is some way of doing that, but this isn't it.I have lived through hurricanes, and this is not even a tropical storm. With that said, if you get the included nozzle close enough to the dust you're trying to discharge, it will move it around. But it doesn't have the small-diameter nozzle one gets with the disposable products, so the force of the air is diffused. The product is a bit noisy, but that's to be expected. I bought this specifically to work in and around computers (based on the product name), but for my money, it's not strong enough. If you do buy the device, bear in mind the provided caution about not leaving it plugged in to charge more than a few hours. It appears to hold a charge well.

Hurricane? More like a stiff breeze
The manufacturer's description of this product says it's more powerful than canned air. Bollocks. If this is "the worlds most powerful cordless electronic air duster" then that can only be because it's the only cordless electronic air duster being sold today. The unit is junk. For the price, I expected the air duster would be a well-made, premium-quality device. It was obvious that this was not the case as soon as I turned it on. The duster was noisy, it vibrated, and the airstream was weak. But, hope springs eternal, and I had some dusty computers that needed cleaning, so I gave the duster a chance to impress me. It completely failed. When I tested it on one of my computers the only dust it moved was the driest, lightest dust. Dust on the computer's fan blades, heat sink, and pc cards stayed where it was regardless of my efforts to dislodge it. A can of air later produced a dust plume from this same computer, primarily because the gas comes out in a much more focused stream from the can, it pushes the dust more forcefully than the hurricane could even when it was operating at full throttle.I have already returned my O2 Hurricane to the seller. If you are looking for an electronic air duster, I strongly suggest you avoid the inaptly named "hurricane."

Could use some improvement
The unit is just as advertised, BUT it does not have the same force as canned air. This will work for about 80% of the things I use it for, but will not replace all my canned air needs. There is just not enough air pressure to clean a heat sink that is really dirty (99% that come into my shop). Nor will it blow out a power supply. I was hoping never to buy canned air again, but sadly that is not the case. I have no plans to return it as it does an okay job on my other needs. I plan to try an modify the straw to see if I can get a bit more pressure out of the unit.Update 8/3/12I find I use this less and less. It really just does not have enough power to do what I need it to do. Stubborn dirt in a cpu heat sink is too much for this. Sadly I must buy canned air again. Down to 2 stars from me....
