I have a 3 pound maltese. I bought a size EXTRA SMALL. After tightening this muzzle as small as it would go, it was still huge. It covers her eyes!!! And she was able to VERY easily remove it. Um yup, I'm returning it.

Fast shipping. I bought xs for my mini pincher and it is to big. He pulled it off as soon as I up it on him. Maybe I would go with a smaller size. The muzzle looks like it is made good. If I could get a better fit u would rate this better.

The idea is good, but as soon as my dog tried to paw at it, it came off. If he left it alone it would be a good product.

Even the extra small was too big. My puppy pulled it right off his face.

We used the measurements to determine our dog needed a size small, but he was able to get it off and chew it apart within the first 5 minutes. EDIT: Customer service promptly responded and sent me a new muzzle in a smaller size. It took 4 days (not of continuous use of course) before he was able to figure out how to get it off. I think the fact that he has a small head and a long snout means muzzles won’t work on him. Also, when in doubt go a size smaller. The muzzle felt very sturdy, my dog is just apparently an escape artist.

She immediately got it off and dismembered it the first use.
