This item is very soft, comfortable and easy to use. Relaxes me. It is very soothing to my eyes. 30-40 seconds in the microwave and I am ready to really be still. I have also frozen it and used it when I get my shot and it works very well also.The only things is that during microwaving it one night, a wire somewhere came loose. Caused an anxious moment. I have used them since, I just make sure that I put the strap folded up underneath the mask. Have not had any other problems. Would recommend.

I have chronic dry eye due to underactive oil glands in my upper eyelids and I purchased this eye mask about 6 months ago. I put it on a plate in the microwave for 45 seconds and put it on my eyes for 10 - 20 minutes. It works GREAT! It's well made, soft material, adjustable elastic band and easy to use. It provides just enough moisture to sooth my eyes and get the oil glands working again! I highly recommend this product and I use it each and every day!

I received this eye compress a few days ago, as I had an eye area surgery and needed a warm compress for bedtime, per my doctor. I used for about three nights, heating for about 25 seconds in the microwave then moving it around, letting it rest to a perfect warm temp for about 15 seconds after removing it. It was perfect and relaxing and would stay warm for a considerable amount of time. I see other reviews saying the band is too tight, but I have a small head, so it fit perfectly. The fourth night I put it in the microwave and noticed sparks and a small flame after about 10 seconds into heating. The clasp part of the band was rubbing on the side of the microwave as the tray spun around and that made me run over to look at the not-so-great reviews on here...I used a magnet on the piece and sure enough, there’s some metal. Not safe. At this point, I will cut the clasp part of the strap off and sew it together or just simply lay the compress part on my face while in bed. I needed to share that so others can be mindful and careful. I also attached pic of the burn mark in my microwave.Note: I see reviews that the compress does not get cold, I have not tried that, only warmth.

I ordered this to help with an eye inflammation, and it is possibly one of the best products I’ve ever received from Amazon. It delivers on everything it says it does. The glass beads inside give weight to the compress that can be adjusted to where you need more or less pressure. It is so soft and soothing. I’ll be able to use it for migraines, and will likely continue to wear it to bed because it feels so relaxing (think along the lines of a weighted blanket.) I don’t normally take the time to write reviews, but I felt this product really deserved a shout out.

The mask is beautifully made. Very good quality. The fabric and stitching are top notch.However, for my fussy face, eyeballs and FAT HEAD!! - The amount of stuffing is WAY TOO MUCH. It feels like a weighted blanket on the old peepers. Started to give me claustrophobia and a headache. I couldn't use the elastic band because my head is WAY TO FAT. That's OK not to use the band - if you don't move in bed because the weight of the over stuffing locked my head down. I did enjoy the wonderful calming coolness of the mask (I put it in the fridge for about 4 hours) before attempting to retire for the night. Luckily, I am an old seamstress. Needing a headlight and magnifying glass (did I mention the high quality stitching?) I was able to pour off close to 1/2 cup of those very shinny lovely little balls (Ohhhh I see a craft project with those little honeys). I stitched the inner layer back shut and the beautiful velvet cover and WHAALA . Also extended the elastic band - whew no more head squeeze! I would recommend this product as I actually love it now. And really appreciate the extra art supplies included.

I LOVE this thing! I got this because I work overnights and I always have trouble napping during the day. Not just because of sunlight, but it’s just generally hard for me to get to sleep. I wind up with dark circles and puffy eyes.This helps me get to sleep faster and helps me hit that REM sleep. My eyes are not nearly as noticeable with dark circles. My eyes are not puffy. It’s just overall a great product. When I have a headache, I pop this in the freezer for 30 mins and it really does help! I haven’t tried the heat option though.

After several review researches, I ended up purchasing this product. I have been dealing with some major sinus pressure/headaches since last Aug. My intentions for this product was to use it as a cold compress mask more than for the heat use of it.The Pros:The product arrived fast.I love the softness of the velvet mask, so comfortable.The adjustable strap is also convenient.When you warm it up, it does give me some relief on my eyes and forehead.The Cons:Doesn't matter how long you leave it in the freezer, when you do use it as a cold mask, the coldness isn't much and doesn't last long.When using it as a hot mask, the recommendation is 30 seconds in the microwave. I found it to be to hot on my face so I change it up to 20-25 seconds in the microwave. Then I shake the beads around a bit before placing on my eyes. I also suggest that once you have it on your eyes, make sure you're lying on your back and using your fingers, gently move the beads around to where you want most of the heat to be at. Overall, it has a short period usefulness but don't think I would buy it again.

I am a person that dealt with styes a lot during my teenage years. I still get them though not as often. I recently had one that was really bad but thankfully has gone WAY down. This mask was helpful instead of constantly heating hot rags all the time. Holds heat much longer. I would recommend to anyone for relaxation whether you have eye issues or not
