Amazing custom keyboard.
I've had many high end custom keyboards in the past and I know quality when I see one. This being a custom hot swappable keyboard makes it even better! If you're looking to get into making custom keyboards then this is for you. Out of the box it may need some work because the stabilizers DO rattle. You will need to clip them and lube them up for a better sound. For this project I chose brown switches model but it doesn't matter which switches you choose as you will be taking them out for new ones anyways.I swapped them out for Holy Panda switches for the crisp sound and amazing tactility. They do fit into the board but will require you to put extra force to make it nice and flush.Gateron and Outemu switches DO fit.All in all, after the product was completed it sounded like a high end keyboard and was definitely better than the gmmk barebones starter crap that they have. Absolutely no rattles and just what I wanted my keyboard to sound like. You can't go wrong for $29.99.. This is definitely the best bang for your buck!Although I must warn you, taking out the stock switches may be a pain in the A. :PWorth it in the end.

Loud Pinging when typing on my keyboard- possible defect
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This keyboard is a $30 mechanical, hotswapable keyboard. I needed it for work and it has fulfilled that purpose but it does come with some annoyances.1. PingingThis pinging is not due to the switches. Any keypress initiates a high pitch metal ping which can be heard in the attached recording of typing on the keyboard (brown switches). With Arctic 7s on but no sound playing at all , the pinging is still very audible. With Windows volume and Arctic 7s to 100% and Spotify at 50% the sound is not audible. If you usually wear headphones it will not be much of an issue. Note although at this volume the pinging is not audible, the key presses are.2. Switch pullerThe included switch puller (the metal one) will desrtoy most if not all of the switches you take out, unless its just a problem with Outemu switch designs. They are extremely hard to pull out and the upper housing will have a snapped piece to it once its out most likely.3. KeycapsAlthough I understand this is a $30 keyboard, the keycaps are quite terrible. Some came already worn down, some had the lettering wear after only a couple weeks of use ( probably would be faster if this is your only keyboard).Final Comments With all of this said, I am mostly happy with the purchase. I replaced the browns with Outemu light purples which have a much nicer tactile bump, even though the browns were not too bad. I like that they include other types of switches with the package so you can feel them if this is your first keyboard. Pay attention to the legs though if you are replacing the switches. For some reason Outemu switches come with these metal jackets around the actual prongs you have to take off with pliers in order to insert it into the socket. I also want to say that I have had other keyboards with cherry reds the Outemu reds feel much smoother than cherry reds. I cannot compare the other types of Outemu switches to cherry but I would not be upset about not getting cherry. Do note you cannot put anything other than Outemu switches and maybe BSUNS and some other obscure brands that are probably not worth trying. For $30 you get a keyboard assembled and ready to go that will work, keycap puller, switch puller (although i would recommend a better one), and 4 different types of switches to try out (red, blue, brown, black). I really appreciate the inclusion of different switches. The pinging may be a defect because I do not see the same comment in any other review and it is very hard to miss if you are reviewing a keyboard.

Best value for high end flexibility in a mechanical keyboard
I'm using this keyboard to type this review so it's definitely a keeper. Hands down this is the best keyboard you are going to get for the money. The biggest benefit is that it can be almost anything you want because you can swap keys and switches on this budget price. It has a very nice mass and fells very solid, not like the flexible-light OEM keyboards that you get with a desktop. I don't miss having a full-size key board that this replaces, but I can't see ever going any smaller. The media controls work perfectly with Windows, I love the blue style clicky switches, and the orange back light. The cons are the the instructions are in not in English so that does suck. My box was opened, or maybe it was returned but either way that kind of sucked too (the keyboard looked fine). It was also sent in a box with no packing material, that was weird. Other than that it's been fantastic.

Solid KB, feels a little more wobbly than the cherry keys.
Needed an inexpensive unit (pvp/fps player, but new to pc gaming),and didnt want to go with a membrane based one.The keys feel a bit less "guided" than on the cherry ones i had used myself, but might just need a little bit of use to get smoother.Brown is usually enough to be able to prevent false key presses when your resting fingers on the keys, but a bit more force needed when typing (office etc) compared to red keys (my preference). Then again, its not for me, the user is happy, likes the higher weight (vs normal stuff),prevents it from moving around.

Great purchase for low budget
I bought this keyboard mainly for coding in the office. For gaming, the backlight the solid switches will satisfy all your requirements. For material, the keycaps are relatively bad and you rather better replace with your own.Overall, 4 stars for the building quality and low budget.

Great Budget Hotswappable Keyboard
For the price, this keyboard is better than the major gaming manufacturers keyboards (hyper x, razer ect..) due to it's hot swappable capabilities. As many reviews mention, the switches can be a pain to pull out. With that said the keyboard feels very sturdy. The only con for me is the pinging and the oem keycaps which can have an occasional ping if I stroke the key hard enough. I have replaced the brown switches and keycaps for linear switches and pbt double shot caps Other than those issues the board is more than worth the money.

Decent Keyboard with some quirks
For ~$40, the keyboard is pretty good! The switches are a bit weird though. It feels "mushy". As in it feels a little slow for the switches to reset back up.
