Edited! Controller works great until it doesn't. No support after there are real issues.
Edit Sept 6. Unit is still working great. If the wifi app was a bit better I would absolutely buy another(the cost of their wifi box is rather expensive though). The support team told me that the unit works over Rs485 modbus, but I haven't had time to mess with it much. Just make sure you run the DC load at max of 10A or so and use a SSR/contactor rated high to actually trigger your load. New unit seems to be working great. Wish they made a LV2424 equivalent model,as the app actually seems to be of the better ones used in any non grid tie brands. (quick updates from controller, doesn't have any issues other than not being able to modify charger options reliably).Edit (Aug 5th 2020): new unit came in and worked with the wifi adapter. Unfortunately the lcd didn't, but Vivian sent me the step to quickly swap over the lcd from my other unit as it's the exact same. After that I haven't had any issues with it since. The hardware is very well built but I think the QC needs an extra check. At the least they were willing to help me and sent me an entire new unit out too. YMMV but after all is said and done I'm upgrading my original review to 5 stars since they stuck through it and got me something that works again.Edit: after a lengthy week with multiple people, I finally spoke with Vivian. She has sent out me a new one, and once the replacement is here I will update to 4+ stars.OLD REVIEWGot it since they were "cheap" and comparable to others. Works great if you get lucky I suppose. Had it installed for weeks with no issues, even using the DC Load option. Got the WiFi box (for an extra hundred bucks, it's just an ESP8266 with a converter board in it). App is lackluster at best. It will show you SOME info. Nothing is seemingly accurate and the app barely communicates with the controller long enough to try and change any option that it does have. It does talk to the "cloud" or whatever server in china is likely hoarding the data. The DC Load option on mine broke (stuck to always ON so I can't change my inverter on and off with the PV or by time, I assume because it can't actually switch the MOSFETS or whatever they're using at the true full power of the controller. (My inverter pulls around 30A constantly FWIW, with a circuit breaker of 30A as well.)).Never got an answer from "Top One Power". Even tried multiple email accounts and their Facebook Messenger platform.Stay away if you are only semi-lucky of a person. Not worth the aggravation of being such a decent product ruined by bad design and durability.I don't ever write reviews for products but hopefully someone doesn't get hopeful that they seemingly make some other "good" products (like the NOT-AN-AIMS inverters and such). Don't waste your money like I have now. Go get something MPP Solar or EP Ever and don't waste time and effort!! For the cost of time and money by now, I could have gotten an LV series from MPP Solar that just works. As an IT admin, I'd rate it 0/5 stars all over if I could. I can't imagine not knowing WiFi/Networking and trying to get the broken-English app and manual figured out.

Good product and customer service.
Initially I had trouble setting up my system due to using solar panels with built in regulators for direct connection to LiFePo4 batteries. I communicated with Ampintv through email and was quickly able to deduce my problem. They were very helpful with their customer service and now my system is up and providing power to my batteries and system.

Good charger for solar.
Works as described and the fan isn't too loud. Good product!

Solid unit, well built, nicely designed
So far I like everything I see here. It's a well built, solid unit. Construction wise, I'd have made the fuses easier to access, but it just makes you want to really be sure you keep your current under the limit :) The manual leaves something to be desired. You kind of have to hunt for the code to access the parameter-setting screens, which they make harder and say "the parameter settings must be operated by qualified technicians"... but in reality, especially since they set the battery default to AGM, the battery parameters are the first thing you need to change if you have LiFePO4 or other batteries to use on your system, so ... hint: The "password" is three down arrows, then three up arrows, then enter. There are settings for just about everything, time, date, the beeping keys (which I immediately turned off), etc. But once it's set up it's good. I'm putting this on a small 1kW system with a few 100 Ah LiFePO4 batteries and I should never see the full 40 A inrush given the relatively light loads I use and the fact that they rarely discharge over a full day of use to below 50%.If I encounter any unexpected behaviors, I'll return to edit the review accordingly. Right now, I'm expecting this to be a good unit, and a price point (around 75 USD at the time I purchased) that made it attractive against higher cost units like Victron. I've got about a dozen charge controllers I've run up and tested so far, most are OK, but I expect this one might be a bit better overall. Time will tell.

It just works but started to malfunction after 31 days
Update: so the screen flashes on and off sometimes I check it and it just off the screen had to be reset a few times it stopped letting me adjust the charge voltage fixed after factory reset which erased all my logs emailed the MFG they wanted me to take it apart which is normally fine but the thing is brand new so that's pretty weak they also wanted me to stand there and try to catch the screen malfunction if I did not they would not help at all 1 day past return time DON'T BUY support was non-existentAlways the question with equipment like this is how long will it last I have always overrated equipment if you keep 70% of load it will last longer so far it works great perfect even I love it I have 2000watts of solar on a 24v system it does graphs and reports logs and so on its a great piece of equipment IF IT LASTS

Terrible product and no customer support
The controller worked great at first, did exactly what it was supposed to do. After less than a month it went south! My solar panels would produce up to 800 plus watts, 130 volts. The controller shows up to 60 amps , as it’s supposed to. But it would only put 11.5 volts to the battery bank, and never charge the battery’s. I looked for a customer support number, no luck! Then I emailed again no response. Don’t waist your time or money with this product!!!!!
