This seems to be made of good quality glass. I haven't lit a flame in it as it was to replace the one on an ornamental light that I had accidentally smashed. I hope I do not need to buy another one again - as it was quite expensive for what it is...

Better than the original
Thicker glass than the original but good shape. Does the job. Haven't used it for lengthy period so reserve judgment on whether it will survive use for extended periods, hence 4 stars.

Good quality
Bought for a restored oil lamp and fitted perfectly. The glass is good quality with no ugly seam up the sides or inclusions. It is also thick enough not to feel like it is going to shatter when pushed into holder on lamp. Dimensions: Base diameter- 6cm as stated in product info, height- 21cm.
