Brooklyn Brine Whiskey Barrel Sauerkraut - 16 oz - Aged In Oak Whiskey Barrels

Second disappointment purchase from Brooklyn Brine. Kraut has way too much sodium content. Cabbage had more core ribs than leaf. The amount, like the Brooklyn Brine pickles I reviewed earlier was quite similar.When I buy kraut the jar is full of....kraut. Not liquid with 1/3 full of product. Same with pickles. If I'm paying premium prices I expect the vendor to sell me a quality product. Not the case here, that's for sure. Tried emailing both company and vendor but guess what? No answer.I figured as much.

Outstanding sauerkraut. Too bad it's not on amazon prime. Would order more often.

AWFUL SMELL & TASTE - couldn't get past the smell to even taste it. Smells like something fermented or rancid. What a waste of money! Unless you like fermented taste, don't bother buying this sauerkraut.

I'm a big fan of sauerkraut and this stuff could be my all time favorite. I used it to top some homemade polish sausage and it turned out amazing!
