Non slippery toothbrushes!
All the wonderful reviews about value and cuteness are spot on. I love the feel of the bamboo when I am brushing my teeth - these toothbrushes are light, fit any hand comfortably, do not get slimy and slippery, and they just feel so much more sanitary. Each brush is the same shape, and that is a plus because every toothbrush from the dentist has some new odd shape, ridges bulges and bristles that catch up all the toothpaste and harden. Not these - the bristles are perfect, they rinse clean and I will be able to bury them with my juicing compost or toss them in the green can. I am sharing them with my grandson and am planning to purchase a few extra boxes as gifts for other "toothbrush strugglers" in the family.

Where have you been all my life?
I initially chose these tooth brushes because I liked the environmental aspect, and yet, they are just great tooth brushes. THESE BRUSHES are a GAME CHANGER. They are soft, lovely to hold, and I don't feel like I am wearing away my enamel at the gum line (like I did with commercial plastic brushes). For me, I'll take just these bamboo brushes from now on. I can't wait to see what the dentist has to say. All the reviews here do the brush justice. It is just right, comfortable, affordable and efficient. I am so glad to have found them.

Good environmentally friendly alternative to plastic toothbrushes
Not only are these toothbrushes better for the environment by being fully biodegradable, they also do a good job at cleaning. I was skeptical to try these at first as other well branded manual plastic brushes with nylon bristles advertise being ergonomic by design, making it more effective at cleaning. This product has a basic design and is simple in nature. These brushes are also more cost effective compared to the ergonomically designed toothbrushes and I would say last about the same.I drink a lot of black tea, and despite getting regular cleanings at the dentist, I do tend to get some minor stain lines between my front teeth. These brushes are both gentle and effective at getting into the tiny areas between each tooth and gum line without causing erosion of the gums. The plastic toothbrushes with nylon bristles were not as effective at doing this, and the integrity of the bristles would start to deteriorate after about a month of use.I do recommend brushing the top and bottom teeth separately though, and reapplying more toothpaste to the brush when changing from the top teeth to the bottom ones to maximize the results.

Solid, eco-friendly toothbrush
I wanted to make the switch to a non-plastic, more ecologically-sound toothbrush and these Zecval brushes fit the bill. They're quite sturdy and the bristles are soft, but not too stiff. Within the set of 8, each is imprinted with a number, which might make it easier to keep track of who's who if many are using these simultaneously - or will be a head's up to you when you're running low, if you start from the #8 brush and work downward! Now, these aren't perfect, though this may fall to factors that no bamboo toothbrush has overcome just yet:-Whereas the handle is entirely recyclable, the bristles are not, so in order to recycle properly you have to trash the bristles separately. What I end up doing is cutting as much of the bristles off as I can with (good) scissors than getting an X-acto knife for the rest.-I've noticed that, as the brush likely nears the end of its use, single bristles are more likely to come out after a brushing. Now this could be just me, as I wonder if I brush a bit too hard at times (you're not supposed to!), but that's hard to say. In any case, I also likely try to extend the lifetime of each brush too much, so I have just gotten in the habit of taking bristles falling out as a sign I need to consider moving to a new one.All in all, I would indeed recommend these brushes if you'd like to lessen your environmental impact just that little bit more - and are interested in saving money, to boot.Hope this helps and take care!

Eco-friendly alternative to traditional toothbrush
I switched to bamboo toothbrushes years ago out of a desire to find a more environmentally-friendly alternative. I've tried several different brands, and Zecval has been my favorite so far. The toothbrushes are long-lasting, have soft bristles and come in sustainable packaging. Just what I was looking for.

Great Toothbrushes for the Price!!
I have been in the market for bamboo toothbrushes for sometime when I came across these. These toothbrushes are great in and of themselves and are great for their price too. The handle is a perfect size and allows for a good grip. I the handle is also smooth so you don't need to worry about splinters. The bristles are soft so they won't aggravate your teeth or gums but they still clean your teeth well. It's also great that these toothbrushes come individually numbered so that you could differentiate between them. Another bonus is that these toothbrushes come in compostable and biodegradable packaging (a cardboard box). Just remember that even though the packaging and bamboo toothbrush handles are biodegradable and compostable, the bristles are not because they are made out of nylon, but the bristles are BPA free.

Good Quality
My dental hygienist gave me one to try and I liked it so much that I bought a pack of 8. The bristles are the perfect firmness. They feel soft on my gums but firm enough to clean my teeth well and I haven’t noticed any bristles falling out. The handles feel great and each one has a different number printed on it so family members can identify theirs. And the fact that the handles are biodegradable is a nice win for the environment.
