Pretty solid
A very good rack at a good price. Easy to put together. I did have some issues with the shipment though. The package arrived with the nuts and bolts falling out of the box. By the time it got to my garage, I was missing 80% of the hardware. NY Barbell was very quick to respond, and got a new set of hardware out right away! Only 2 or 3 business days later. However, they still did not send the correct amount of hardware. I was still missing some washers and bolts when all was said and done.A trip to Lowes allowed me to figure out the hardware was not actually 3/4" hardware, but 10 mm hardware instead. Picked up the missing pieces for under $5, but still was a little bummed I needed to do so.Once it was put together, and started using it, I forgot all about that mess. It's a great rack! Lightweight, but sturdy as hell! Only complaint about the product itself is that the J-cups don't have any means of protecting the knurling on your bar. It's a flat painted steel, with no wood or faux wood insets to protected your equipment when racking/unracking.Other than that, it's an excellent rack for the price!

Not a bad rack for what I paid about a year ago ...
Not a bad rack for what I paid about a year ago $309. However, there is a better rack available for the current price $350:http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=23773346&cp=4406646.4413986.12598195&categoryId=46528036My current TDS power rack has two barbell plate holders and a pull up bar included. This is nice rack but note that the walls of the box frame are thin and will easliy start to distort if you re-tighten the bolts. I use extra thick washers (purchased seperately) where the bolts enter the box frame.

Pretty nice rack for the price
Just received mine today and here is what I found from when I received to the build. So it was delivered in two packages very tightly packed together with plastic wrap from a friendly fed ex delivery guy a day earlier than expected. The actual box was kinda tattered with tape all around it. Opening the package all the parts were in a thin foam wrap. There were a few little scratches and the painted numbers were kinda blurry along with one of the j hooks being kind of bent in .However I had some black rustoleum paint to cover up the scratches and a hammer and pliers for the j hook. Putting it together by myself seemed pretty straightforward seeing as the instruction manual was made by a chimp or something, So I winged it and had it up 45-60 mins. Nothing was missing, All bolts, nuts with a excessive amount of washer's were all there. I tested out the pull up bar (I'm 245 lbs) and no shaky movements along with squatting 315 lbs and felt safe. Good buy for beginner's like me.Pro's: cost effective easy to set up pull up bar included (attachment's available) fast shippingCon's: scratches on the rack. blurry numbering.

Good, budget-friendly, rack!
The rack was easy to put together, and certainly seems to be worth the money. My disappointment is that it's a bit lighter-weight than expected and lacks holes to secure it to the floor. When racking signifying weight it tends to move slightly (not enough for safety concern). Overall this seems to be a good piece of equipment for a home gym on a budget.

Could have been 5 stars...
I love this rack. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that the holes on one leg to put it together were not offset, so the bolts hit each other. I have tons of power tools so this was an easy fix, but if I did not l, sending it back would have been a huge hassle. I'm in Texas and it came from NY. As far as the rack goes, it's a tank. Doesn't shift, I can lift without worrying with the safety bars and I already put a set of gym rings on it. Good quality rack for a great price.

Exactly what I was hoping for!
Finally decided to leave the commercial gyms and built my own garage gym. I do heavy lifting so I wanted something sturdy but didn't cost an arm and a leg. This power rack has not left me disappointed! If you are worried about the weight limit so far I have had 415lbs on the hooks and 470lbs on the safety bars and felt fully comfortable about it. I did lots of research before purchasing and for the price/weight limit on this one it really can't be beat. It's not flashy or fancy but it is SOLID which was very important to me and I actually prefer the solid black look. Plus, the hole spacing most people don't think about until they try to bench or squat in a rack with 3inch hole spacing and don't happen to be the perfect height for it which is something you do not have to worry about with this rack because of the 2inch spacing. This is the main piece to my garage gym and I am proud to show it off to anyone that comes over to workout because I know it will hold up to whatever beating we're about to put it through!

Horrible rack don't buy!
The set came with missing bolts and half the holes were drilled 3/8" holes that did not fit the 1/2" bolts supplied. No instructions, not that it mattered. Just a horrible experience...

Super Rack!
Wow! I can finally do heavy back squats and bench press alone, without a spotter safely. No more front squats and dumbbell bench press.Compared with racks one to three hundred more. All had lower weight ratings, five to seven hundred. This one is rated for a thousand pounds.Amazon had the best deal on shipping. Came quickly.Had to make a fast trip to the hardware store, missing four bolts. That's really the only negative. A couple of the numbers had a little piece of the number two missing. Changing the heights of the hooks and bars have made some minor scratches of the powder coating, as has throwing the weighted bar around. Nothing major. Also this thing is huge. Four foot by four foot by seven foot high. Then you have a standard seven foot Olympic bar, if like me, plus weight plates and a nice F.I.D. bench. The room I have this in is ten by nine foot six, and it is tight. Like no room for the wife's exercise bike, tight.Highly recommend.
