American made, good quality, comfortable
I bought these suspenders to hold up my pants when carrying concealed. Now I don't have to strangle my guts with my belt. I carry a full size automatic IWB and a super tight belt was just far too uncomfortable. I wear the suspenders under my shirt since I can't stand tucking a shirt in. Even against bare skin, it's pretty bearable for a few hours, but I would recommend a thin t-shirt. Perry Suspenders are American made in Decatur, Illinois and the prices are fantastic, even when buying directly from Perry. I only bought them through Amazon in order to use my points. The belt hooks are some sort of plastic, but they are very solid. I wouldn't use them with a heavy tool belt, but for concealed carry, they are perfect. From what I've read, Perry went with plastic in order to pass TSA checkpoints easier. I don't fly or go anywhere else the TSA might be, so a metal hook option would be nice.If you have to use the john, they are easy to unhook and re-hook without ever having to remove them from your shoulders. Being elastic, the straps will eventually stretch some, but they are easily adjusted to compensate. I expect at least a few years of use before needing to be replaced. As cheaply priced as they are, it wouldn't break the bank at all to replace them every year if need be, but I'm sure they will last longer. Overall, it's an excellent product, made in America, for a great price. What more could you ask for? Support small business and buy a few pair. You won't regret it. Be sure to check the Perry website to see their current product line and buy directly from them whenever possible. (No, I'm not affiliated with Perry in any way.)

Practical and Comfortable
After searching for a pair of suspenders to attach to my belt, I decided on these! The extra wide straps are sturdy and the clips are tough, high-density plastic. The fit is comfortable, and they hold my pants where I want them. Easy attached and detached, and the clips hold firmly. The adjustability of the straps is also phenomenally smooth and can be tightened or loosened for a custom fit. I'm thrilled at how capable and functional these are. I highly recommend them to everyone!

Great support for my work belt!
Very comfortable suspenders! They are easy to put on. The clips that attach to your belt are easy to attach to your belt and secure. I have now spent a week wearing these and they are very comfortable. I do recommend these suspenders.

Great suspenders but required tweaking
After recently loosing 35 lbs, I found myself constantly pulling up my pants and getting stomach aches from cinching my belt too tight. Rather than going for a new pants ($$$$), I decided to give these a try. I haven't wore suspenders since boyhood but I remember not liking them as they were always slipping off my shoulders. For that reason, I bought the long/tall ones thinking the rear strap would be longer and the Y-section would closer to my shoulders. Not the case. Instead the front straps were longer, putting the adjusting buckles directly over my shirt pockets. Not a big deal but they still slipped off the shoulder. I am 5' 11" and have A-frame shoulders, so I solved that problem by having my wife sew a strip of elastic across the Y just below the back of my collar. The belt clips are sturdy but will fall off when dropping your pants unless you use a heavy duty (1/8" thick) work belt. The rear one straddles the belt loop on the back of your pants, while the front ones must go on the outside of the loops. If you try to put them to the inside, they will pull the belt up off your pants in the front. Not all my pants have the same front positioning of the belt loops, so these suspenders work better with some than others. I wish the front hooks were the same as the rear one. The adjusting buckles eventually slip when moving around a lot. The elastic doesn't seem to be stretching out and does the job well. No more droopy pants and stomach aches.Bottom line, excellent quality but less than expected design, so -1 star for the slipping buckles and the non-straddling front belt hooks.

The top of the line - hands down!
The only pair of suspenders I will ever buy for work is the perry brand. It doesn’t cause wear and tear on the waist band, doesn’t come loose (or let you down), and the stretch supports holds up better than any product offered by the competition. When I found these, I was frustrated for sure. My sons used to laugh that when I was working every 140 seconds I would adjust my pants (yes they timed it over and over). I had tried other suspenders but the alligator clips just wore out the east bands, moving the clips around only created more problems. The perry is designed for use and function. Another benefit of these is there are times when I don’t want a 40 pound tool belt but need to have some tools. But if you are on a ladder, or going through a cramped attic/crawlspace you still needs hands and tools. The toughbuilt tool pouches (available on Amazon) are independent and come with a universal belt attachment. Since the Perry’s grab at the belt, the toughbuilt system is the perfect complement. The Perry’s also fit, they don’t rub and I will honestly forget I am even wearing them. If there is one flaw, it is the width of the back bracket. If your pants have wider loops and a loop in the dead center, it can be a little difficult to hook, but once hooked it’s no big deal. What’s more I don’t have to adjust my britches every 140 seconds. If you haven’t tried the perry brand, you should. Perry also makes 2 point suspenders which I wear as well. You cannot go wrong.

Great, made in USA suspenders
The belt clips work great. The back one is split down the middle to fit around a standard width belt loop, but not wide belt loops like on Dickies work pants.
