The Square Adjustable No Show Flat Buckle Belt by Beltaway, Comfortably Holds Your Pants Up

I really needed a belt like this but had a tough time deciding between this and Silver Lilly, so I got one of each. If I were to get one more, I'd choose this one because of the thinner buckle (3/16" vs 5/16")

This is the solution to my problem! I carry my weight in my thighs/butt, so I have to go up a size in pants to accommodate those areas, which often leaves the waist band gaping open in the back, and I spend the whole day tugging up on the waistline to keep my jeans from falling off. My husband bought me a thick leather belt, but it's difficult for me to open when I need to take my pants off (it's one of those Mission belts), and it's not stretchy so in order to get it to hold my pants up I have to cinch it pretty tight, and then it digs into my abdomen all day making me uncomfortable, and sometimes causing digestive issues. Plus, it causes a huge, unflattering bulge under my shirt.I got so frustrated I started sewing a piece of elastic into the waistband of my jeans, but that's a lot of work and doesn't always solve the problem (just keeps them from gaping open at the back, but doesn't hold them up), and it's a lot of work. Then I found this belt. It's the perfect solution for my problem. I was afraid the buckle would be too flimsy, but I've been wearing it every day for a few weeks and haven't had any issues so far.

The Beltaway Customer Service team impressed me with their proactive response to an inventory issue. I had ordered a "Square Buckle Plus Size" in denim blue, and when they realized it wasn't available, they promptly shipped me an "Original Buckle" in denim blue, plus 2 additional "square buckle" belts in different colors at no cost to me! The gift was accompanied by a very polite handwritten note signed by "Mark". Both the gift and the note were unexpectedly kind gestures, and much appreciated.I've been wearing my belts for several months now, so I can give an accurate review of their performance. The belts certainly do everything they claim to. They lay flat and are inconspicuous under knits. They are fantastic in preventing the dreaded over-exposure caused by pants that gap in the back. Sure, they are not the most fashionable belt around, but look OK with jeans and casual bottoms. For anyone pointing out that they are "just" an elastic with a plastic buckle--that's correct, but I sew, and thus have priced the parts to make a similar belt, and you wouldn't save a penny making your own. First, flat buckles are hard to come by, especially in any color other than black (plus most look like they belong in dog collars...because they do) and elastic of comparable thickness and quality is expensive. So, unless you're planning to buy buckles in lots of 100, and elastic on huge rolls, you cannot make a similar belt for less than you can buy these on Amazon.Final thoughts: the belts are adjustable for a custom fit, don't roll uncomfortably when worn, don't stretch out during they day, and lay flat under fine knits. They are fairly priced and, after 3-4 months of use, they appear they'll last for a long time. Great performance coupled with excellent customer service makes this a very good buy.

I ordered the BeltAway, Jelt, and Infinity Belt to compare. Overall, the BeltAway is my favorite.Pros: This belt really does lay flat. It is also adjustable, which is nice because my waist size varies a lot and I hate having a tight belt. The belt feels sturdy and well made.Cons: The buckle is still slightly clunky and can poke when I’m sitting down, similar to a regular belt buckle. The belt does ride up my belt loops a little so I wish it had silicone grips on the inside to prevent that.The pics I’ve posted show what the Belt Away looks like on, then a pic comparing a regular belt and the Belt Away under a shirt.

Oh my word I love this thing!! It's really flat and comfortable, really easy to adjust. I have some pants that have a higher waist so I need it tighter and then I just loosen it for lower waists. I was worried about some of the negative reviews but I've been wearing this for months now and have never had it come open without me actively undoing it. Also, people mentioned it sort of popping out of the belt loops or what have you when using the bathroom but I feel like you'd have to have it really, really tight for that to happen!10/17/17: So now that I've been wearing it for a while I get what people are saying about it coming out of the belt loop when you go to the bathroom but it's just the one side for me and never enough to be a real problem for me. Still love this thing.

First of all I can’t imagine why this belt has so many good reviews! I just bought this one in white and I also bought 2 others from a different brand. This one was already opened on one side where the red tape is (the other side was partially peeled off. I’m guessing that I got one that was sent back by someone else for one reason or another. As I did with each belt I tried it on to check the fit and how easy it would be to open and close the belts. I tried over and over again with this one to unhook it from the way it was received and I finally gave up. I don’t know if I happened to receive a ‘defective’ belt or if they are all the same. As hard as I tried I couldn’t get the belt to unhook to even get a chance to try it on. This is going back to Amazon and I have since bought a white one from one of the other brands that works very easily and fits well too. I have noticed during my search for this type of no-show belt that many of them are identical in nature but ‘sold by’ various brands. I honestly can’t say that all the belts from this company are the same as mine but based on my own issue I don’t recommend it - there are so many more on Amazon that are not only the same type but are about the same price (give or take a couple of $) that do work very well (so well that I have just bought more colors from Vanstart, I think that’s the name of one of the good ones) and can open and close with little to no effort whatsoever!

Very nice belt. Lies flat so it doesn't stick out under jumpers. Just what I was looking for.

Very comfortable, does what it says

I took a star off because nowhere in the product description was the width of the belt given, and it's rather misleading to show it on jeans, because it's somewhat thinner in width than most jeans belts are. However, the belt is very well made and I can certainly use it, albeit not for the jeans I had in mind. When I first saw it I thought, 'really? I paid $40 CDN for This?' But it's a very slick belt and it holds quite well.

This belt has lots of stretch. At full length without stretch it will fit 41". It can be adjusted down to 22".

Produit fidèle à l’image. Très confortable et ne se voit pas sous le chandail. Très satisfaite pour me permettre de porter des pantalons qui sont un peu trop grand!
