This is one of those "What Took Them So Long" products!?
This is one of those "What Took Them So Long" products!? Installation was no more than a few minutes, quick and simple. This was installed at the same time I added a new dispenser, so the dispenser tube was glued in place using Gorilla Glue, and let that set while I mounted the SoapTainer. I routed the tube from the SoapTainer along a water line and held that in place with a few zip-ties, just in case the Gorilla Glue does not do the job. Filled it up with our favorite blue dish detergent, pumped the dispenser for a few moments, and Bob's your Uncle! We have been using it now for about 2 weeks, no complaints, no issues, just soap! Pros: 1. Quick and easy installation... 2. Easy to fill... 3. Takes up very little space for a 1 gallon container... Cons: None for our situation/installation...

Love it!
The 1st came broken. Nothing wrong with the packaging or anything but the plastic around where you fill it was cracked. I emailed the company and sent them pics of the dispenser and packaging and had a replacement at my door in just a few days. Top notch customer service! It was really easy to install. Didn't take any time at all. The ONLY issue we ran into was that our original pump wasn't strong enough to draw the soap. Didn't matter how long we tried or how fast we pumped it. So, it was an easy fix. We just went to Lowe's and bought another...only cost $20. The dispenser is nested under our sink just where I wanted it. It's doing what it's supposed to. I'm thrilled I don't have to get under the sink to fill the bottle anymore. This dispenser feels sturdy. We have replaced the little bottle one a few times now because the top of the bottle would break off where it threads. The last straw was when I tried to use the dispenser after I had JUST filled it and found the bottle lying under the sink, leaking soap all over. It turns out the threaded area on the bottle just broke off. We don't have a dishwasher, so we hand wash. I'm hoping this new dispenser will work out simply so I don't have to fill it So often. The hinge on it allows it to be tipped out for easier filling. It is just overall a great idea. It's only been installed a very short period of time now but...it's looking like this is gonna be something good for us.

Great
Great, easy to install.... After a few months it stopped pumping and was harder to get anything out the longer it went

Hard to Keep Connected If Pump Tube is Too Small
I've got 4 of these. They were easy to install, and they work okay--sometimes The only benefit over the regular Never-Mt is the tank, but even that has its issues. Here's my pro and con since I've used both. Pros The tank is easy to refill. (The bottle is the tank on the Never MT.) Soaptainers are easy to install. (So is the Never MT.) I only have to refill mine once a year or so. Cons The too soft rubber tubing kinks too much because it is too soft and too flexible. The soft rubber tubing has a larger ID than Never-Mt so soaptainers tube doesn't fit snugly on a lot of the pump tubes out there. This creates a seal problem. A tight seal is necessary to create the vacuum needed to pump the soap. I had to figure out how to seal the joints in the tube. I've had a couple of the soft tubes slip off because the lack of a tight fit, and when they did, they made a huge mess under the cabinet. The storage container has to sit in the front of the cabinet for access. This takes up room. The Never-MT uses a gallon jug that can be pushed to the back of the cabinet out of the way. I prefer the tank in the front because it's hard to crawl under the cabinet at my age. On two of mine I had to replace the tubing with the Never-MT type of tube. The soft original tubing would not work well with the dish soap I was using. The soap inside the tube became thick as toothpaste. I don't know why. I've never had that happen before. The same soap in the Never-MT never gave me a problem, but companies change the chemistry of their products all the time. I switched to the Never-MT type of tube, which I think is a 3/8 OD tube that Home Depot stocks, because it seems to have a lower coefficient of friction. Using that tube and switching to Dawn, the soap came all the way up the tube in only a few pumps rather than the 50 I had to do before (vacuum issue). Overall the soap pumps better now. I'll see if it develops any more problems. The price! Soaptainers aren't inexpensive, and I had to spend extra money on mine changing tubing. On some soap pumps (Hansgrohe for example), their tube fits Soaptainer exactly if it's close to 3/8" OD. If it's smaller (ie 1/4" OD or so like lots of Chinese made pumps) then the long soft Soaptainer hose won't stay on and the vacuum won't be strong enough to pump well. The best solution is to buy some PVC that 3/8" OD x 1/4" ID. Push a three or four inches of the PVC into the Soaptainer tube and then push the smaller soap pump tube into the 3/8" tube that was inserted into Soaptainer tube. I like to push the 3/8" tube all the way to the top of the soap pump tube, but it doesn't have to be as long as it's a tight fit. This will snug up everything so there's a good vacuum to pull the soap out of the Soaptainer reservoir. On the ones that still didn't seal properly, I used shrink tube for electrical connections. I have it in a few sizes. I had to use three pieces in two different sizes to seal the tube so it pulls a strong vacuum. When there are no leaking connections, the soap should stay at the top of the tube and not drop back down due to a loss of vacuum. After shrinking the tube all the soaptainers worked. If you want shrink tube you can buy it a multi-size pack at Harbor Freight for a couple of dollars. Soaptainers work ok. I don't like the soft rubber tubing. Fixing the lack of a vacuum seal is a pain, but in general it only has to be done once. Krevare should include a foot of the 3/8 x 1/4 tube so buyers don't have to chase it at Home Depot. Don't install a Soaptainer with a loose fitting tube because it will make a huge mess if it comes off, and if there isn't sufficient vacuum, the soap won't flow correctly. If I had gotten the adapter tubing with the $240 worth of soaptainers that I bought, maybe things would have gone better from the beginning. Soaptainers are ok. Never MT's are ok. It's personal preference.

Great design, seriously overpriced
This is a very clever and functional design. Installation was easy except for having to do the usual undersink contortions... which could mostly be avoided by not using the check valve. Some pumps would probably work without it but I decided to go ahead and install it anyway to work with the soap dispenser for my new Moen Arlo kitchen sensor faucet. No modifications necessary and no issues priming and maintaining soap flow. One star deleted merely for the price which in my view is 2X what this should have cost. (but I paid it, I know). That was a lot to pay for the small space saving convenience and nice ergos a as compared to just hooking up a tube to a gallon jug. Perhaps some near clones will appear and be more reasonably priced. They'd sell a LOT of these if they cost, say, $25. For now they only get a few of us who are "suckers" for design. One potential bad thing that could happen, especially if you install the check valve. If someone roots around under the sink roughly the tube could pop off and drain soap into your cabinet. This has not happened to me nor do I expect it to. But remember, Mr. Murphy is alive and well!

Incredible
I wish I had found out about this product sooner. The bottles attached to my soap dispenser always seemed to break off at the neck, and at a cost of $10-20 per bottle per year, this product would have paid for itself by now. Installation was very easy. Honestly I didn't read the instructions but reading them now I see that I missed installing the check valve and I didn't bother with the cable clamps because the line runs under the conduit for the dishwasher... But guess what! It still works FLAWLESSLY! Soap dispensed on the first pump, EVERY TIME! This thing holds an entire GALLON of soap! I bet it only needs to be refilled once per year, if that. From now on every counter-mount soap dispenser in my home will be attached to one of these. I really shouldn't be this excited about a soap container but really, wow, it is amazing. 18 month update: Soap is starting to get low, but still not empty! Family of four, dispenser at the kitchen sink, and I haven't had to worry about putting soap in once in the past 18 months!!!

Good idea but too big
The vat is huge! Way too big. You have to fill it with a lot of soap to get it to work. Since I am space constrained I do need something that allows me to remote the soap canister like this unit does. However, I don't need a reservoir bigger than a bottle of soap.

Fantastic product
WOW! What an awesome product. The space saving design is great, fits perfectly in my cabinet with space to spare. Swivels down easily for filling the container. I installed it without screwing it down first to try it out to ensure it worked with my soap dispenser. I have a Moen soap dispenser, no workaround was needed for installing the tubing to the pump. Screwing the base to the cabinet looks to be a cinch. I added 2 56oz bottles of soap to the container and there is still some room before the container is completely full. Overall, this was the easiest product install I've experienced. This product will simplify my dishwashing by eliminating the need to add soap periodically to the dispenser. Organization in the cabinet is a plus. It looks fantastic. The only minor upgrade would be a tighter fitting lid to the container. It fits fine, not as tight as I would like, and doesn't seem like it'll come loose when upright but over time it might loosen up a bit.
