Ok so I'm down for the anti-plastic straw thing. It is a silly way to produce plastic. At the same time, I really hate the reusable straws and just don't believe that it could ever be a truly hygienic thing. I don't use straws that often (maybe once a week if I'm just in the mood) so I felt ok getting these. I wasn't expecting much: in fact, I also hate paper straws usually. I mean the paper taste is a lot. And they disintegrate in whatever you're drinking!These are PERFECT. I've never had a straw like this. It honestly kind of feel like someone took a sturdy parchment paper and rolled it into a straw shape. It doesn't disintegrate, it doesn't feel like plastic or crack if you bite on it. And they're cute. Simple. And best of all: I can just toss it in the compost when I'm done with it!I'm just really happy I found these.

Will purchase again - Very strong and better than even your average plastic straw!! This is way better than the paper straw which gets gross as you use it. You should make the switch! I also use glass straws & stainless steel...but these are nice for daily or single use. Single wrapped is nice but I feel it should be offered with and with out. For home use you do not need the extra paper wrapping but for outside use I can see the appeal.

Nice, fairly sturdy straws. Their texture is smooth like piece of a dry uncooked penne pasta. They are easy to drink from & compostable. They hold up fine in liquid. Don't chew on them or squeeze them, or they will crack.

I'm sorry, I love using straws. I know plastic ones are terrible for the environment, and I've had bad luck with paper straws, so chose these b/c they are biodegradable. They're more expensive than plastic straws, but they make me feel better about doing my part. They are great. They held up in my drink for a couple hours. Definitely would recommend.

Worked great and held up unlike paper straws. Had to be careful opening them and not to bang against table to pull straw up as some do wrapped plastic straws as I was not sure if this would break these straws but they are an amazing product and the best alternative material disposable straw Ive found. Thanks for making this product!!

These straws are amazing! I think everyone can agree that plastic straws hurt the enviorment. I'm not a huge fan of metal straws either since they tend to be tough to clean, so these are a fantasic alternative! They don't taste or feel weird like most biodegradable straws do. Overall, great straws! 5 Stars!

I think the straws are pretty good and happy they will biodegrade.
