Review: No disappointments here!! - My 3 year old asked for this for his 3rd birthday in July. For weeks and weeks he continually said this was the gift he wanted souley based on commercials he saw online. It wasn't even in stores yet so I did purchase it from desertcart @$50 price tag. I must say it it really cool. My son gets 30+min play at a time. I haven't changed the batteries yet. Keeps him entertained with multiple sayings, tricks and even some "hidden" tricks if you push a combination of the buttons at once. Very durable he has dropped it many times on tile floor. IMO I was thinking it was a little expensive but for the excellent quality, durability and design of this Radio controlled Thomas it is worth the money.

He puts it on the counter and makes it flip off and it holds up very well against rough boys. Honestly, I love playing with it too! It does everything it says it does. Make sure to buy AAA batteries when you get it. The remote is what needs the AAA batteries, the train already has batteries in it but you will need to remove a protective paper and maybe move the batteries around to get them to juice back up. You'll also need a phillips head screwdriver. Also, there is an on/off switch but it's the same color as the blue and is somewhat hard to see.

My 3 year old asked for this for his 3rd birthday in July. For weeks and weeks he continually said this was the gift he wanted souley based on commercials he saw online. i bought this toy for a 3 year old and he absolutley loves it, was a christmas present and after all the other toys were opened this was the one that was being played with, seems durable and quality. the controller is responsive and works pretty well. does go through batteries fairly fast though. i assume this isnt a toy that will be played with for months but for the price it was a quality gift priced fair enough,
