I’ve had this little device for a couple weeks.I have found myself using it in the morning when I’m getting ready.The device works very well. It’s very easy to operate. All you have to do is: Plug it in, turn it on and after a few seconds start using it.The there are three temperature modes. Depending on the amount of hair and the length, you might want to jump from one to another. The first setting is just fine for all beards. 280 F is comfortable to the touch, and it does not burn your face.Keep in mind that time is crucial. Do not spend too much time with the device on, as you may run the risk of it overheating. I don’t see me doing that, as the device works pretty fast and you get results with in minutes.I’d recommend it. I will continue using it. The size is perfect and is pretty light in weight.

I've got a decently long beard that can become a bit unruly at times. I also recently saw an infomercial on Amazon for a similar beard straightener (much more expensive). I found myself intrigued by this product and really wanted to try one, but didn't want to spend almost $100. Luckily, I found this make/model, which looks almost identical to the one I saw demo'd but for a fraction of the price. On my first use I wasn't very impressed, but the second time I used it my technique improved, and I set the temperature higher which made a big difference. Before and after pictures included. Not a mind-blowing transformation, but certainly a noticeable cleanup. It feels really nice when using it, and works pretty well on hair too.I love that it comes with a little bag to store it in, and that there's a cable management velcro on the cord; felt it was a really nice touch by the manufacturer to include these. Some of these have a 360 degree swiveling cord - this one doesn't, but I could really care less and don't have any issue with the cord getting in the way. Overall, seems to be a good quality tool that does it's job well for a very reasonable price. Heck, all said and done, I paid about the same for this as I did for my wooden beard comb - I call that a heck of a bargain. Very satisfied with this purchase.

I ordered this for my husband who is constantly frustrated with his unruly beard. I wasn't expecting a lot from it, maybe just some help smoothing down the strays or making it a bit less...poufy.Pros: This Beard Straightener Comb did that PLUS made his beard look shinier, fuller (now that the hair is all going the same direction the thinner spots don't show through), and he is thrilled that he can make his beard curl under now instead of having the ends always trying to curl to the left. It's also awesome that it comes in this drawstring pouch with a cord wrap that keeps it from getting tangled with the rest of my styling tools.Con: I took a little while. Less time and better control than using a blow dryer and round brush, but it's not a one pass wonder.Bonus: I have waivy hair that is also frizzy. I love my waive but hate the frizz so I decided to see what this would do. I ran it over the top layer of my dry hair (lowest heat setting) and it greatly reduced the frizz without ruining my waives. Four stars as a beard tool and the fifth is for me. ;-)

I LOVE IT! My hair is collar bone length and my baby hairs are very frizzy, and I have been using a small flatiron to remedy that, but all it does it flatten it (which it is supposed to, I get that), and I have burned myself a few times. I was drawn to this brush bc I would hopefully have more control, not burn myself on hot plates. I pretty much have to flatiron some areas every day. I was immediately impressed by how quickly this worked...my hair was immediately smoother and I loved that I could just brush through it and get the results I wanted. I'm very impressed and will keep using this!

Sooo.. i am conflicted on this item. I have a medium-length beard and wanted to try it out. It does get hot and if you go slow you can see it kinda working, however; having said that, you need definitely need like a brush on the opposite side to help make the hair truly be pushed into the heat and get straight. I feel this is much better for my hair than for my beard. On long hair this would be good I belive.

I have a medium to long beard 3-4 inches and this doesn’t work well for it. The bristles tug and pull and don’t flow through my beard at at. After the first use maybe 5 minutes in at 280* the brush started to smoke and the back is too hot too touch. Makes me worried that within a month this thing will melt. Being returned

So convenient since it brushes and straightens at once. Also super easy to use! Heats up very fast and straightens very well. Also love that it’s compact and therefore great for travel

This straightener comb is very light weight. The heating setting can be changed by pressing a button, loved the display showing the temperature level. It heats up quickly, no need to wait longer for the temperature to reach.he instruction manual has the details of when to use what temperature level. I am using it for beard as well as my curly hair.
