Bandai DX Chogokin Macross F Sayonara no Tsubasa VF-19 Advance About 250mm ABS & PVC & die-cast Painted Action Figure

I look happily upon my mantle at it every day. Once a month I make adjustments to it, and shift its poses. A light dusting is also perform.My only critique, which isn't much of one, is the time and sensitivity it takes to transform between modes. Then, one other concern is that the adaptable stand doesn't come with full instructions of use.

This is easily one of my favourite Macross figures. This is an excellent model of the YF-19 that transforms from Valkyrie Fighter (Jet) mode, to Gerwalk and Battroid (robot) mode. As with all Macross figures, Gerwalk mode is probably going to be everyone's least favourite. So I won't spend any time on that here. Let's talk about:The Good:• Absolutely breathtaking jet mode. You're probably going to display it in this mode most frequently. It is my favourite mode, hands down.• The wings can fold into multiple modes: Attack, Cruise and Fast - all look just fantastic.• The Canards next to the cockpit can collapse and fold (a function of transformation) to protect them from transport damage.• Excellent articulation in Battroid mode facilitated by ball joints on ankles, arms, elbows, shoulders and head.• Ratchet joints on knees and hip.• Die Cast on all joints (which is now standard for all DX Chogokin Macross figures).• The figure is extremely sturdy. No flopping around, except in Gerwalk mode (the point of this mode is lost on me, TBH).• NEW: Articulated fingers! (thumb and index, with other fingers joined - but can fold into a fist and flexed out as needed).• Lots of additional animated hands in different poses• The hands now have a tab to hold the gun in place, after which you can fold the articulated fingers into place around the gun.• The FAST PACK goes on fairly easily though I did have some trouble with this (more on this later).• Cockpit canopy opens and closes (again, standard with DX Chogokin Macross figures)• Rubber tires, and DIE CAST landing gear that can neatly fold in and out for jet mode. Jet mode also rolls really well.• FABULOUS transparent stand and clips for holding the wing assembly in place when dynamically posing in Battroid mode.• The figure can stand on its own. It has a great center of gravity in Battroid mode. You probably won't need the stand for most poses.• Point Break Green fireball looks pretty darn cool!• Light piping in Battroid mode!• Super fun transformation! There are some really cool gimmicks at play when transforming this figure.• The instructions are FANTASTIC! They may be in Japanese, but you'll still be able to follow along quite easily.The Bad:• The wing canards on the right side tab in PRETTY TIGHT. Be careful when you begin transformation from Jet mode.• The cockpit and wing canards are pretty thin - TOO thin. I can see someone breaking this fairly easily.• The wing assembly is STUPIDLY tight. Be VERY, VERY careful when unfolding it for transformation. It will cause damage if not done precisely.• The air brake stabilizer that transforms into the Battroid shield is INCREDIBLY delicate. Handle with EXTREME care.• Handle this figure with kid gloves if you don't want to bend or break anything during transformation. It is not particularly rugged at all.• Gerwalk mode is a mess. It can barely stand on its own. Easily the weakest (and most pointless mode) of this figure.• The fast pack booster on the right side (your left when facing the figure) doesn't clip in very well.The WTF:• SHARP EDGES! OMG - You can DRAW BLOOD just by handling this thing. Don't let your kids ANYWHERE near this!• Why are so many of the wing and canard elements SO THIN?! I can see them bending and breaking with any fair use.SHOULD YOU BUY?Oh GOD, YES! It's definitely not the strongest (or the sexiest) in the DX Chogokin Macross figure series. But it is without a doubt the most fun figure they've released yet. There's so much more you can do that hasn't been included in this review. GET IT WHILE YOU STILL CAN on Amazon Prime! It is without a doubt one of Bandai Tamashi's best Macross figures to date. Just be careful of those sharp edges. You can lose an eye or break skin if not careful. Aside from that, expect to spend a few hours with this figure once you get it out of the box. It is solid entertainment.

Wow! I really could not tell it was pre owned at all, even the mini fig was still in the factory sealed bag with the hands, not even sure it is possible for it to be owned and be this quality! Highly recommend this seller!

統合軍マークのYF-19が高く手が出せないので…。SMSのVF-19を購入 ミサイルパーツなどは無いですが流石19はカッコいいです!変形は尾翼を気にしながらたまにファイターからバトロイドにしてます。カッコいいから眺めてる時間が長いですね(≧▽≦)ファイター時のスタンドをVF−１限定スタンドタイプ（角度が付くタイプ）で眺めたいなぁカッコいいだろーなぁ

本日開封しました方々でアドバンスＰの装着不良や硬すぎる変形機構と言われていましたが変形自体は、問題なかったですＶＦ-171の劣悪極まりない変形を経験しているせいかもしれませんが一応見本のようにアドバンスＰも装着して見ましたがこれが駄目です！ＦＡＳＴパック調のパーツは良いとしてやはりＶＦ-25用ブースターはＶＦ-19のウイングには重過ぎです装着も取説のようには出来ず、手前で止まり半固定状態なのでウイングが自重に負けてしまいます自分の場合、右ウイングは半固定でも大丈夫なんですが左ウイングの金属パーツが弱いようで、どうしてもずり落ちますパーツが無ければ全く緩くないので、ブースターのせいなのは一目瞭然でした他の追加パーツも大変小さく外す際、すっ飛んで行くとか当然なので自分は、あくまでモンキーモデルのＶＦ-19ＥＦとしてディスプレイしていますこれなら安定性も良いですし、初のピンポイントバリアパンチエフェクトも相当カッコイイです個人的には、バルキリーシリーズでも１番好きなＹｆ-２９　ロッド機も来月発売なのでコイツと並べたいですね本体は、変形の複雑さに及び腰にならなければ、全然平気だと思いますヤマト版やアルカディア版は元より、これまでのバンダイ製バルキリー超合金を弄り続けていれば大丈夫だと感じましたＶＦ-１９は何処まで展開するか判りませんがこのアドバンス版はこれ一機でしょうから、改修等は望めませんが形だけでも上手く再現してくれたのは評価したいです元々、既存のパックを流用し、ＶＦ-１９用に仕立てたという事もありますし許容するしかないでしょうが購入を検討中の方は、アドバンスＰ装着状態でのディスプレイだけで考えず本体オンリーでの魅力も購入の指針にして欲しいです追記アドバンスＰのブースター装着できましたずり落ちもありませんただ、ウイングを本体基部から離す為ブースターとウイング基部の間に結構隙間が出来ます参考写真では上手く誤魔化していたようです何度かトライした為、多少ウイングに擦れ付いてしまいましたがこれで、アドバンスＰ装備状態でディスプレイできますただ、やはり重い事には変わりないですが完全固定でブラブラしないのは良いです隙間についても自分的には許容範囲でした追記２大型ブースターのウイング固定完全に成功しました隙間もありませんまず、ウイングは基部より金属パーツを伸ばした状態にしてそこから、説明書通りに丸穴と突起に合わせて固定そこから金属パーツをウイング基部に向けて戻してやればウイングがブースターを付けた状態のまま縮むので、参考写真同様の形になりますブースターが旨く固定できない方は、是非再チャレンジして欲しいです余程の本体不良でない限り、問題なく可能だと思われますので

やまとの一番最初のYF19や番台デラックスファイアーバルキリーを持ってる世代ですが凄まじい技術の向上を感じる商品です。リアルになり複雑化した分丁寧に扱わないとだめですね。プロポーションは、やまとやアルカディアの現行品に比べスマートな感じです。マクロスプラス、7当時のバトロイドデザインとしては向こうの方だと思います。フロンティアのバルキリーデザインと整合するとこちらですが変形については、動画サイトで公開されてますのでそちらを観られると良いと思います。(魂Webから飛べます。)advanceパック装備も見れます。今回は、発売直前でも尼でちょくちょく復活してますので楽にオーダー出来ました。プレ値から徐々に値下がりしていくマケプレのチキンレースが結構、楽しめました。　　発送連絡が来たので追記…発送開始が結構ゆっくりだったのでシビレを切らして朝、家電量販店で普通に一個購入してきました。後は、尼分の到着を待ちさらに徹底的に遊び倒そうと思います。後は、カラバリでSMS の一般型とかでるのでしょうね。版権がらみで難しいのかも知れませんがYF19 のファウストパックやレイブンズのA型カラーも出るといいなぁでも、毎回調達が難しいので店頭予約の受注生産にしてほしいです。　DX 超合金では、1st.、プラス、7の商品は展開出来ないのかな？

変形させた形跡がないくらい、美品でした。また機会ありましたら、よろしくお願いいたします。

変形の整合性などは、メサイアやデュランダルには及びませんが、さすがは名作マクロスプラスの名機YF-19。劇中で描かれるファイターでのドックファイト、バトロイドでのけんか(!)シーンを彷彿させる良い作りです。表現のための手パーツ、コクピット用にイサム、ガンポッド、スーパーパーツ類もセットで、ファンの期待には十分応えている品です。ファイター形態時は、翼を後ろに流した高速飛行モードも再現できます。デザインされた時代もあるので、欠点をあげつらうのは酷なのですが、やはり変形機構と姿勢の保持力の関係はいかんともしがたく。とくにバトロイド時の『足についた羽」はスーパーパックのブースターとあいまって、保持力はなし。一応、支える支柱はついてきますが、飾るときになるべく余計なものはないほうがよいでしょう。ガウォーク時の腕は、機体の上からなので、結果的にかなりバトロイドに近くなってしまい、ここまでくるともうバトロイドでいいじゃん、と思ってしまいます。最大の原点理由は、一番大きいブースターです。固定は、ウイング根元の二か所、爪で固定するのですが、爪の根元との厚みの関係で、かっちりというには危なっかしい固定です。個体差があるようですが、ものによってはちょっと動かしただけではずれてしまうことも。このあたりは運ですね。
