Incredible USB C Hub
I am very happy with the Totu 12 in 1 USB C Hub. I am very impressed with almost every aspect of this device. The port placement is perfect for my needs and preferences. It has every port you could really need for the next 6 months to a year, at least considering how fast tech changes. I love the Display port on it as it's the first USB hub I have owned with a DP on it. I go through a lot of USB hubs but this one I am going to try to hang onto. The only thing I don't understand is why they bothered to put USB 2.0 ports on there when they are all backwards compatible, at least as far as I know. I'm guessing it has something to do with interference but I am not sure on that.I think the size is perfect because of all the features, but it is a little larger the some but still extremely portable. The USB ports on this do not charge devices very well but that is normal and to be expected. I really don't use the HUB for video very often so I really didn't use graphics ports more then to test out the display port to add a fourth monitor to my system. It had no problems working with my Alienware M17xR4 with AGA, The AGA has an ASUS Rog Strix 1080 Ti in it with 2 27" Monitors and a 55" TV attached to it. I was able to add a fourth monitor using the DP on the USB hub, but the 4th monitor also worked through the video card as well. It took a little load off the graphics card but seemed to slow down the system a bit. It's kind of like using the internal monitor on the laptop when docked. I am guessing it was attempting to use the internal GTX 1080 or Intel graphics adapter but didn't confirm my theory on that. The fact that it worked at all actually kind of surprised me. My laptop usually stays docked and attached to the Alienware Graphics Amplifier. When I do take it with me this hub is a true life saver.Data transfer rates were higher then expected even when using multiple ports at once. This is also the first USB C hub that I have found that allowed a second USB C hub to be installed on a different USB C port. Not sure if it's designed that way or just luck though. Usually both are not detected only one, but for some reason I am able to connect both and that's how it should be considering that was the goal of USB in the first place.Overall this is one of the best hubs I have owned to date. It adds a lot of functionality for a good price. The Micro-SD and SD card readers are easy to access and use. It's very user friendly and required no real setup even in my advanced environment. That kind of shocked me to be honest. It even works with virtual machines when configured. This is an excellent product that pretty much stays connected to my system now. In my opinion it's definitely worth the price and you won't regret this purchase.

Compact, High Quality Feel, LOTS of Ports :)
I needed another USB C Hub and I've purchased TOTU products before because of the quality look and feel and they just ALWAYS work the way they're supposed to.I'm running 2 different laptops at any given time, A MacBook Pro & an HP Laptop. As a bare minimum, I needed 2 HDMI ports, an ethernet port and at least 2 High Speed USB ports as well. This fit the bill perfectly for my needs.Once I hooked up the monitors, and powered the hub up, everything comes up in a matter of seconds. Both my MacBook Pro as well as my HP Laptop will need to be hooked up to this USB C hub on any given day, depending on what I have to do that particular day. This works flawlessly with both of the laptops. There is more desktop extender / mirroring capability with my HP laptop, but that is because of the Windows vs MacOS environments difference. Hopefully Apple will enhance the mirroring capability of the Macs in their next OS update. All of the connections are Tight and the feel of the hub is Definitely Quality. It looks professional, feels professional and works perfectly the way it's supposed to. I love it when I buy a product that works the way it's promised to work and looks as good or better than the pictures. :) I LOVE This Hub! Shout out to TOTU Again !! :)This has every port I could possibly need in the future -- has a perfect length dongle cord to stay out of my way -- allows me to charge my laptop at Full Capacity while using it -- and it fits compactly & neatly in my laptop bag. P E R F E C T !! :). Thank You TOTU & Thank You Lemon Vivi for Great Customer Service & getting it to me a day early :) I ordered it Late and I was secretly Hoping that you would get it shipped ASAP :) Thanks Again :)

An Almost Perfect Docking Station
My Setup: HP Spectre Folio with Two Acer 27" LED FHD S271HL Monitors into the hub. This product is excellent with premium feel and its metal frame would make it very sturdy. It works perfectly as docking station for dual screen monitor. Very easy to setup and also easy to travel with (it also comes with a pouch!)I have identified two downside of this product, though very minor. First, the charging is rather slow even though I plugged in the original charger which came with my HP Spectre Folio into the hub. It is still charging, tho, meaning that my laptop still amassing juice, but just slower than if I plugged in the charger directly. It still works, so no biggies! Second, I find the hub USB-C cable which connect to computer to be rather short. I am a 2-in-1 Laptop/Tablet users which often use tablet mode for handwriting. I love doing my homeworks and scratches in my laptop while letting the monitor showing me the references. The cable being short makes my freedom in moving my laptop reduced. It would be awesome if the cable is a bit longer. In conclusion, this is an almost perfect docking station. It has weaknesses, of course, but it serves its purposes very excellently. The downside that I found is nothing compare to the quality that this product brings. It is highly recommended.

Great range of ports and high build quality
This dock offers a comprehensive range of ports in a sturdy and compact enclosure. Good value and even better if purchased as a deal.

Does what it’s supposed to
Works well and unlike other models it allows charging through it. I have had. No used but it does run very warm even hot to touch, time will tell.

Style over substance! Rubbish customer service and a very pretty (and expensive) paperweight
This hub looks and feels lovely - solid, well produced. Pretty! And oooh! So many functions!BUT.I bought it to to replace a 10 usb powered hub, which has been working fine, just is limited to only USBs, and I wanted the range of ports this offered. So this old hub had been running 2 monitors, keyboard, mouse, several external hard drives, headsets, random other stuff, with no problem. The Totu? Pfft. This unit could barely cope with 1 monitor and 1 other USB plugged in. The HDMI wasn't detected at all on testing.Customer service was rubbish, with my having to submit product details repeatedly. Finally Totu confirmed what my local tech shop said, that I needed to externally power up.Totu said that the charger I was looking at was suitable for this, AND that if it didn't work they'd reimburse the cost of the charger, aaaand, that if it didn't work with the charger and I wasn't happy with the hub, that they'd refund the Totu hub costs without my needing to return it. Wow, huh? They suggested gifting it to a friend. Handy, because this process had taken so long the packaging had long been recycled. What ACTUALLY happened was:Totu hub + charger combo lasted about 30 minutes! It failed to cope w 2 monitors, and 2 USB 2.0's plugged in (monitors turning off and on repeatedly, keyboard cyclically non responsive) - I didn't even bother trying to add any other functions in. The hub began to overheat within 30 minutes, so no way was this OK to set up and leave, as I planned to do.Totu back tracked on the 'we'll refund the charger' and told me to try and refund it via Amazon, likewise, their commitment to refunding the Totu unit, as they're 'not authorized to sell through Amazon. Au'. Nice one, Totu.I'm left with a superfluous charger and an expensive piece of decorative metal that is either defective or just rubbish, and now having to negotiate return / refund for both.Don't bother dealing with this brand if you're in Australia!
