I’ve been using aloe vera gel on my face and body for more than forty years and I like the way it makes my skin feel. I started using Lily of the Desert about 10 years ago when my corner store turned into an organic food market. This is good stuff. An 8-oz. bottle lasts me about four months if I use it every day. Be aware that it doesn’t keep in the fridge longer than six months and be careful where you put it: if the product freezes, you’ll have to toss it.

I was adding this to my water, but then started coating my skin with it. Honestly, the taste is not as strong as aloe vera products I have used in the past. It is helping my dry eyelids very much. I've used it on a bee sting and I didn't feel pain, even with slight swelling. Worked well on cuts to moisturize them pre bandage. I like this brand, it is a great value.

I've used this brand before, great product. Not greatest taste, but drinking Aloe wouldn't be. The ones that taste good have to many additives, and pure aloe works better. It is great for the digestive system. Also I pour it on cuts and kitchen burns, heals amazingly fast.

I got this to replace some I was out of. I use them as a hair treatment for usually overnight. This is pretty good. Makes my hair shiney and moisturized. I would buy again. I have not drank it but that's not what I got it for.

I didn't buy this for me, I actually bought this for my dog. My dog, unfortunately, has a bunch of rotten teeth and his gums were pretty sore. Doggy toothpaste does next to nothing, and it wasn't worth the effort and the discomfort it caused him.Not to mention he wasn't eating much and was losing weight, I could feel his spine and his ribs despite the fact that he had fresh food to eat every day. He wouldn't even eat his treats, it was terrible.At the end of my rope, and unable to afford to take my dog to the vet, I looked up online what I could buy to help him, and aloe vera gel was the first thing that came up.After doing a ton of research, I decided to give it a chance.Let me tell you, it worked!He can eat just fine now, in fact, shortly after I started using this on him, he ate about four cans of food in a row!He's gained quite a bit of weight, and I can't feel his ribs or his spine anymore.This stuff saved my sweet boy! If your dog has bad teeth, just mix some of this stuff with a little 3% hydrogen peroxide and a wet cotton ball [or soft bristle tooth brush] and clean your dog's mouth with it [teeth and gums], it's worked wonders for my boy! Will re-purchase in the future!
