The media could not be loaded.  After spending a whole day using this pad I have to say that it is amazing. Anyone who owns a Sega Saturn with an original controller today will know that sitting 3ft from a large HD TV is far from ideal when playing Saturn games so this is was much needed and anticipated. Linking it up to my Japanese Sega Saturn was easy with the clear instructions and is simply a case of pressing a couple of buttons.The controller itself is a perfect clone of the original as you can see in my pictures. It feels identical, with the smooth face and textured exterior. I expect some people in the reviews to say that the buttons are wobbly and loose and that the dpad is floaty, but the fact is that, as you can see in my video, it is exactly the same as the original pad. I'm amazed by how close they have got this. It it light but it feels sturdy too. There is an inbuilt rechargeable battery which doesn't weigh it down at all.I have tested a fair range of games such as Street fighter Vs Capcom, Daytona USA and Pebble Beach and I found myself pulling off Hadoukens every time, fast lap times and perfect fairway drives. I'm finding no input lag whatsoever and everything works as it should.The controller comes in a very nicely presented box which has a nice thank you note from Retro-bit and also a USB adapter to use on PC and most other consoles. I am yet to try this adapter out but I will be testing this on pc at some point.I am thoroughly pleased with my purchase. I think at the price I have paid (£35) for a controller with such versatility in a world where game controllers are costing upwards of £50, this is an absolute steal.The Saturn pad is highly regarded as the one of the best joypads ever made and if you want to relive your Saturn days, or want a new USB controller for retro gaming, this is unquestionably the one to get.Thank you Retro-bit.

I use this for my Sega Saturn and OMG is it good! I worried with my wired controllers how long they will last. This thing, yes it’s light but registers everything and just works. It’s a great thing! Glad I got this as a sale as this version is usually like £45! I got it on sale. But great item when it’s on sale

I bought this as i was getting fed up with the short cable on my Japanese Sega Saturn.PROS:Connects without any problems.Never had a drop out or flaky connection.DPad and button inputs are responsiveExcellent build qualityConnects to loads of devices.(With dongles)CONS:D-PAD feels is a little too soft for me but not a deal breaker (I personally like the feel of the 8Bitdo M30 best)Battery life isnt fantastic as its quite small.Micro USB for charging. (Prefer a USB-C or Mini USB port as stronger)This came with the connectors required to use it on a REAL Sega Saturn JAPAN/USA/EUROPE machine as well as connect it over usb to a PC or Mister. I will try it with a android device but i don't see why it wouldn't work.Very nice for the price.

Bought this to use with a Sega Saturn. When it came, I thought it was a bit janky - the buttons feel a touch loose and are noisy. However, when I put it next to an official, original Saturn controller, it's actually exactly the same.That's not to say it doesn't work - it does work, perfectly. In fact, they've made some improvements to the shoulder buttons, which are awful on the original Saturn controller but nice and responsive here.If you want a wireless controller for the Saturn or for playing Saturn on an emulator, this is a great choice. Which is good, as it's pretty much your only choice.

Solid controller, at least as good quality as the original Sega ones. I bought a Saturn style controller from retro-bit in the past, before they secured the Sega licence, and it was very lightweight and flimsy so I purchased this with more than a little trepidation. I have to say, my concerns were completely wrong, I love this product!!! Extremely easy to set-up and pair with the receivers and fairly straightforward to update the firmware via PC. Battery life also seems exceptional. But it's the build quality that really blew me away. Feels just like an original controller that could genuinely be battered from pillar to post without malfunction. Needless to say I am pulling off Wrath of the Raging Demon's and Shoryuken's to my hearts content!

I haven't actually used this controller yet but I wanted to write a review anyway because of how impressed I am with the product as received. The pad comes in a box that, as you can see in the pictures, feels like a really authentic Sega Saturn product from the time. I got a real nostalgia kick straight away. Then I was surprised to find that inside the box, the pad comes in a really nice display case that houses the pad, micro usb cable and the wireless receivers, which I wasn't at all expecting. The case is plastic with a kind of felt interior. It was a really nice surprise. The pad itself looks really nice. I definitely like the see through aesthetic and the coloured buttons (definite 90s vibe about it). The pad is just charging now so I haven't played it but in terms of feel, it does feel a little plastic-y and clicky but if I remember rightly, so did the original Sega Saturn controller so I'm happy with that as that's what I wanted. I'll definitely look at the rest of Retro-Bit's product line. I'll play with it later and update my review if there are any issues.Update - so I said that I’d play with it later and update my review. Well it’s 3 years later, so sorry for the delay. The pad is still going strong! I’ve played many hours of Shining Holy Ark, Shining Force 3, Street Fighter Alpha, Dead or Alive, House of the Dead, Panzer Dragoon and Radiant Silver Gun on this and I still love it.

Het is of je een originele controller in je handen heb maar dan nu zonder draad. Je hebt de vrijheid om te zitten zoals je wilt. Het werkt geweldig.

Me ha gustado su diseño muy bonito bastante fiel al original de la sega Saturn, también me ha gustado su presentación en la caja de plástico que trae para poder guardarlo después de usarlo, también sirve tanto en la consola sega Saturn y en el pc

Il controller arriva come presentato nell'inserzione, con una bella custodia dove riporre i due ricevitori e il pad stesso, con il cavo di ricarica sotto la confezione, devo dire molto elegante.Il funzionamento è sostanzialmente perfetto, non credo di aver visto alcun lag rispetto ai controller originali che si collegano via cavo, per cui funziona egregiamente con qualsiasi titolo, anche quelli che richiedono precisione e tempismo come i vari Street Fighter e Virtua Fighter 2. Davvero un ottimo acquisto se avete un Saturn.
