Used for low level under cabinet lighting. Product failed after about 6 months - so I am disappointed that I didn't get the maximum from the LED long life bulbs. What can you do??

An excellent purchase. The adhesive strip attached to the lights makes it relatively easy to attach the lights though I would suggest it's easier with two people. The light level is adjustable via the remote control. There are a number of lighting modes from single colour, fading from one colour to another flashing and then 4 sound to light modes. I have had some difficulty with the sound to light modes as the pick-up on the lights is very sensitive

I've bought this for my son's unit in bedroom. It is extremely flexible and the sticky strip to attach is very strong. No chance thats coming loose. The lights are very bright, you can change colours, have them flashing and fading. I've stuck it on behind unit so it glows and you can't see individual lights. Looks like the expensive kind you can get with pricey TVs and expensive kitchens. You can buy several and attach them together to make longer only using one plug. I'm definitely going to be ordering more. The length is generous. Excellent value for money.

I bought 1 of these to place behind my new 65" OLED. I plugged them into the USB ports are they appeared to be great. I stuck one around the sides and top and the other along the bottom (cutting it short). The brightness is good enough in day and night. I have them brighter during the day. True with most LED strips, the adhesion came loose around the area of the bend and some along the straights. I tackled this with some Mammoth double sided tape which I swear by for all kinds of applications.However, a few days ago, after having them up for a week, I realized when changing colours to blue and / or green, the end of the longest one (on right of TV) fades as though it's not currying the voltage to the end enough. It does it with every colour, but green is more noticable, since the end part looks like a blue as it fades - or vice versa. it's not totally apparent, particularly from where I sit on a slight angle to the TV, but it's there. Noticable less on red. Nonetheless, I found this to be the most cost effective solution. It's cheap, can be easily removed if need be, but it's not important enough for me to even think of doing that. All in all, not bad lights for the price.

Perfect for my room and were even better than I expected. They’re very easy to install and the setup is so simple. The delivery is great, they came earlier than stated which is always a positive...so far so good. I would say when they are bright, they are really bright but you can easily change the settings using the remote, you’re able to extend them (clipping two or more together) which you can’t easily do with some other brands. Well worth the purchase

Easy to apply , look good when lit and like that you can change the colours, the remote i found you have to be up very close to them when changing colour, so you can't change it from other side of room , the only problem i found the bit along the bottom keeps coming unstuck and dropping off, the adhesive isn't very good and soon loses its stickiness, the top and sides are fine, just along bottom.

This LED stip would be perfect if stayed stuck to what you put it on, but it doesn't.Brought as a backlight for out TV and it fell off in less than 24 hours. Not sure if the adhesive cant cope with the heat from the TV on the backplate or if its just poor in all situations.Our solution was to use Gorilla tape at 6 inch intervals to hold the stip in place. It has since not moved an inch. It's just a good job it wasn't installed in a place where the strip itself could be seen.As for the glow on the wall behind the TV, this is great. Colours are bright and vibrant, and there is a nice enough range of options (we found that using the dark purple enhanced TV viewing the best).But for a sticky LED strip to just not 'stick' is really poor and as such i just cannot recommend it.Moral of the story, if its needs sticking, stick to Gorilla :)3/10

Firstly the positives - these are nice bright lights, good colour options to suit the theme of your games or films, really helps to make the image 'pop'. I was surprised by how much they improved the viewing/gaming experience. The photos probably don't do it justice as it is difficult to get the photos to work in the lighting conditions. But, those are comments about LED strips in general and I will probably end up replacing these with a different set as the negatives outweigh the positives:Bought for a 55" TV (the description says they are suitable up to 60") - while this is technically correct, you could make them fit a large TV but you would have to stick them so near the centre I doubt the effect would be the same. Going around the edge of my 55" set they only cover the 2 sides and along the top, with a little bit left along the bottom side, I didn't want to peel it all off and try again nearer the centre so left it as is. If you want to go all the way around all 4 edges of a large TV these won't be long enough.Adhesion - I think because the strips are quite thick and heavy the corners are very difficult to make stick. All mine are peeling off, the weight of the strip then causes the peeling to spread as the strip pulls away from the back of the TV. Every day I have to try and press it back down.So, in summary, the effect of LED strips are great for gaming and TV watching, but this set is no good if you want to cover all edges of a larger TV, this set is unlikely to stick to the back of a TV without extra tape or glue. Get a different set.
