Amazing machine. My carpets are lovely and dries really well!
Excellent suction. Works amazingly. Easy to use and put together. The different attachment are easy to swap over and the water pipe connectors are good quality metal connectors so won’t break. Bought this just in time as my dog became very poorly the next day and it handled the clean ups extremely well. Easy to fill and reassemble. Only down sides are the weight (as it’s quite heavy with the water in) and the hose and wire gets tangled as the water pipe keeps coming off the suction pipe. The plastic clips do not keep it in place. If the wire was a recoil wire it would make life easier. The wire is very long so great for reaching places away from your power source but it does get in the way as there’s so much of it. Still a brilliant product and I would highly recommend it.

A great purchase - would buy again
I was really torn between the Henry Wash and the Karcher. Really impressed with the Henry Wash - would definately recommendI've gone from a basic stand up Vax which never left the carpets feeling clean and it also only did carpets it had no option for upholstery. This little Henry is easy to put together, easy to use and not half as loud as my old Vax is.It seems quite hardy too, I have two large dogs that malt.. Alot.. And I must not of hoovered very well before using the Henry Wash and it picked the left over hairs up no problem. It's so easy to use, just has the two functions to release the shampoo or to suck the mucky water up, I've so far used the main head for the carpets then used the upholstery one for the sofa and dog beds, the main attachment for the carpet I can't fault, got so much water out of the carpet. The upholstery head didn't get as much water out but as I've never used one for upholstery I just assume it's because it's only touching the cover and not the stuffing in either the sofa or the dog bedsSo far very very impressed and chuffed with my purchase - I would of put before and after pictures up but I was very embarrassed of the colour of the water after, my Vax has been doing even less than I thought

Perfect as a car valleting machine
Not too sure if this was a faulty machine but the carpets were left extremely wet taking two days to dry fully. It was very fiddly to get the cleanung head in the correct position to suck the water back up.When cleaning rugs the cleaning head sprayed far wider than the area it sucked up leaving my wood floors & anything else in the area drenched. It is probably best suited to cleaning car carpets and smaller areas using the smaller tool which is much easier to use.The cable storage isn't as well designed as my henry Hoover which has a handle to retract & stores inside the lid, this cable simply wraps around a hook on the back of the lid.The clean water tubing clips on the outside of the main pipe which was fiddly. It's annoying to have to completely dismantle the machine to store although very easy to clean and sturdy. Probably the least suited machine for larger areas although if a carpet cleaning tool was supplied which scrubbed and sucked the water back up more efficiently it would be perfect. I love the fact this is British made & if I had been able to purchase a better designed carpet tool I would have kept it.

Amazing suction, easy to use, great value for money
I got this Henry Wash as we have pets, as well as being able to clean all the carpets and our hard floors. The Henry Wash does an amazing job at all of these tasks. Strongly recommended if you have pets or high traffic carpet areas, as the Henry Wash was able to remove stains and bring the carpets back to looking like new. The Henry Wash is easy to assemble, use and clean. All the parts feel high quality and I feel that this will last a long time. I've used this for carpet cleaning, hard flooring as well as cleaning the carpets, upholstery and floor mats in my car and the Henry Wash does a great job at all of these tasks. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wet vacuum cleaner.

Great value and clever design - much better than a V#X but more elbow grease perhaps?
I once sold carpet cleaning and know a bit about it. This domestic machine is similar to the 'hot water extraction' type cleaners the professionals use. Although there is no heater element, this is not really necessary in a domestic situation where hot water is on tap usually. This British machine from Chard in Somerset has excellent fittings for the clean fluid solution and robust cleaning tools. The motor is adequate and I am very pleased with the results and ease of set up etc. It is easier than an Ikea flat pack! You do need to put some effort in as there is obviously no mechanical brush etc. Have not used on hard floors yet and doubt if I will. For the very reasonable price and next day free delivery on Prime and after a few hours of use, so far so good. Cleaning fluid with non-foam etc is available on-line at much less cost than what you pay when you hire via the dry cleaners or supermarket - but those are OK for big areas up and down I guess - this is great for stairs etc. Rug Docs even charge £2.99 to rent that attachment on top of £24 a day plus chemicals at very high prices!

Does the job and does it well.
It's not how dirty the water is when you empty the container, it's what's in the water that matters. If your shampooer is getting the carpet deep down clean then the waste container will have sand and grit in the bottom. The Henry Wash performed as well, or better than any commercial carpet cleaner I have used and the Nuchem 4 supplied with the machine is now my go to shampoo. Did the lounge in less than an hour from start to cleaned and put away.I have read reviews saying it is difficult to assemble and hard work to use. Read the instructions, think about what you are doing and assembly is no problem.. If you find it hard work to use then you are definitely doing it wrong. Don't scrub at the carpet, pull the head towards you slowly while spraying. The water will be immediately sucked up with all the dirt and grit. No pressure needed. If you press down the pile will be flattened and the cleaner can't do its job properly.I have spondylosis and arthritis and found it as easy, or easier, to use than an upright vac'.Do not take any notice of the youtube video made by the guy who broke the shampooer head by scrubbing away at the carper like a crazy man except as a lesson in absolutely how not use the Henry Wash, or any carpet shampooer.
